Ho-ly. I think this chapter could be split in two but eh. you executed it beautifully... But nooo Kynthia's eye... :( I am assuming this is where the story actually kicks off right? Also, I am really starting to like Gram :p
    Excellent work Alex!

Yeah, some of the early ones (part 2/3 and this one for sure) aswell as the later ones (had one where I actually hit the character limit of the description and was forced to split it due to that ..) are going into the "long drag" territory

Glad you did enjoy it though, and well - really kicking off .. might happen down the road .. I personally see Skjor's Mission and subsequently Markarth as the two real start-off points .. though in the beginning back in the first few parts never had imagined it turning out this way .. or any way for that matter as I never expected it all to run this long (and still continue if at a much slower pace chapter-posting wise .. much much slower ..)

Glad you do like Garm, or the version of him presented here though! Thank you very much!

To comment my first post here - This was a hell of a long sleep...Lol!!

Puh! This chapter was pretty "heavy"...but it was worth it!
    Where can i find Verdyn??

A marvelous chapter filled up with some very nice and unique ideas. You always put so much care and hard work into your writings and images. I really enjoyed the fight description between Kynthia and the EbonyWarrior as well as the shots (i think everyone did ).
I had a feeling that Kynthia might wouldn't be prepared for a face to face with him....at least she got another chance, but she payed it hard...too hard! Luckily she can always count on Garm.
I also liked the part with Verdyn...a Dunmer living in the middle of the snowy woods doing his thing. A great companion....and he gifted Kynthia with that power of nature, i can't wait to see how she makes use of her new abilities.

    Great work!

Thank you very much for your Kind words, shutt3r Happy you liked this chapter and finally "woke up again"

Well; it took her a while to recover and even now I'm not sure if she will be able to overcome that ebony guy should she meet him again .. On the matter of Garm; well .. his role is ever more increasingly important for Kynthia

      thanks again!

Wow, what a massive chapter! Travel all over the world, an epic battle (and loss to the Ebony warrior), a terrible wound, an old friend's return and a Jedi-like experience to hone her skills. So much happened in this chapter! I really liked Kynthia's brutal torture of the bandit right at the beginning and how this affected Garm; I think it's good perspective of what she's capable of.

Also loved that she DIDN'T kill her foe in their first battle. It's always a given in stories that the hero tracks down the foe, meets him then ends him. So it was a great surprise when he totally owned her! And now she can go back with her new skills and take him on again. I also wonder who he is??

It'll be interesting to read about her return to skyrim; I wonder if she'll bump into Hadvar again? Loving her new hairstyle too; succeeds in making her appear older and wiser.

Thank you very much for your detailed Feedback Jess, Very happy you like her new Hairstyle and the Bandit - Kynthia - Garm triangle

Well, the Ebony Guy so far is "only" the Leader of the Bandit Raid responsible for the Death of her Parents and for both her Scars on her Face Even though I have a few Ideas who he could be on top of that

A great chapter my friend! Kynthia seems to be a bit tormented but is managing to find her way with help of friends. Great work with her lost eye and how you described the sense of loss and despair that could cause! Good thing Garm was there to help her, and looking forward to seeing whats next!!

Poor Garm is going to end up with an identity complex between you and Jess lol :-) Good thing he is actually a wolf-husky hybrid so he can adapt to be a wolf :-) Then again as a Guardian of the Underworld it makes sense that he could shift between being a husky and wolf so it all works

Really enjoyed how you covered many years of her life hunting down the bandits, her loss to the Ebony Warrior (which was good in a way - means she needs more training) and her time with Garm and her old trainer. It is good that Game is able to calm her rage as well.

I liked the idea of her returning to relearn how to use the bow as well - a good idea and nicely thought out. The pictures wore also very good as they went with the story very nicely.

Well, I think I always made Garm a Wolf, even though he is a Husky Might be my Wolf-Replacer mod that gives them the Husky Mesh, so basically he totally looks like a smaller Ice Wolf with red Eyes

Thank you very much for your kind words, Jonathan Happy and relieved you liked that part of her Story

Dear Alex, this is a truly wonderful chapter! Darling Garm and his infinite love and loyalty; I wish that he did not need to worry about her so but it is understandable as the Ancient Magic is so powerful that her actions can be profoundly unpredictable and in the end he will be the one to help her through. Excellent build up between Kynthia and the Ebony Warrior; a very creative and tense action sequence surrounding the loss of her eye. As bad as it would be to lose an eye, especially for one so reliant upon optical precision, thanks to Verdyn she has now gained so much more than she lost. In essence it was a blessing ; ) With her newly gained "sight" there will be little that she cannot do.
Bravo my friend, anxiously awaiting the follow up chapter!
