And Sofie wears Night Child outfit from Dovahkinder collection - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/45642/?
Speaking of which loved all the lore you tossed in on them. I do read lore but not nearly to the extent you have - you are teaching me many things! I have also started doing a lot more research for my own stories.
Back to the story - so the "Wyrm" and the "Aedric blood" were awesome bits to toss in. Seems the Dremora have a natural affinity for the super natural and could detect her potential far easier than mortals could. That was a very cool thing to do as I love little things like that.
All the pictures were awesome. The one of Sam in the shadows, near the top, had an almost dark look to his expression - I really liked it. Crossed arms and the way his eyes were looking. Another favorite was Dannee bending over Sofie with her earing displayed and one hand to the other side of her head - it was a great post and looked very motherly and natural.
I enjoyed the humor as well (Danne going white as a ghost) and how Sofie was like a child gushing out all her secret misdoings once she got going. All in all a fun little tale I fully enjoyed over dinner
I adore young Dannee!! She needs her own spin-off series!! She's so very brave but honourable and I definitely see shades of young Sofie in her. I think this is why present day Dannee is so forgiving of the headstrong young girl; she sees herself in Sofie's actions. What an awesome battle of wills between Dannee and that Dremora. I love how she used her wits to overcome him when she knew her fledgling magic would be no match for him.
And of course I loved the bickering banter between Sam and Serana... and Sam and Sofie... and Sam and Dannee!! Ah I just love Sam!! He's got such allure and charisma!!
Wonderful tale my dear and some amazing accompanying images as per usual. Jon and I were commenting the other day how you always manage to capture such expression and feeling in your images. It's truly a credit to you!!
I am very happy that you’ve liked this Dremora addition! I also see them as attractive on appearance level, especially in Skyrim and Morrowind since in oblivion they were scary and mean as sin, but they are very savage and malicious towards humans. I’ve read a lot of lore about dremora, even their dialogues from all past games to make an opinion about their culture. As far as I know, they indeed despise to be summoned, because they look down on mortals, seeing them as sometimes fascinating but inferior creatures, great preys and curious things to toy with. Aside from that, they are also very patriarchal society, sp it explains Dremora warrior humor at little Dannee trying to stop him, because not only she so little but she is a girl and Dremora tend to underestimate female opponents.
Thank you very much! I am very happy that my stories managed to explain some lore bits. I did a massive research about Daedra, the Princes and Lesser Daedra as dremora before starting Sam and Dannee story to make it as lore friendly as possible.
Dremora indeed has special affinity for supernatural things as well as superior senses that is why Dremora warrior hesitated so much in attacking Dannee, since he was not sure how he should proceed.
Thank you very much again for your kind words about the story and shots! I like that picture of Sam in shadows too, I was trying to show that even with girls he remains himself and still somehow detached from group, because of his true nature. Yeah, that pic of motherly Dannee came out almost of accident, due to my random search of fitting poses, and I am very happy that you’ve liked it.
Thank you very much again! I adore little Dannee too and always want to give her hugs, for she is a cutie. The spin-off series would be cool to make, if it was not so tricky since sadly Skyrim has very different architecture from Cyrodiil.
You are so right about Dannee being so forgiving of Sofie because she sees herself in her. They are so alike, that it always surprise Dannee, for Sofie is like her little double. And back in childhood Dannee has nothing but her wits to rely upon, since dremora are too strong even for more experienced mages. Luckily for everyone, except their high lords and generals, ordinary dremora are not very bright.
I am very happy that you’ve liked the bickering banters between heroes! I admit it is my most favorite part to write, since they all have such vivid personalities. So glad that you love Sam!
Thank you very much again for your kind words!
Loved young Dannee dealing with that foolishly summoned Dremora lord!!! Too bad Dannee could not grasp the full meaning of the Dremora calling her "little wyrm"!
Thank you again! Dannee definitely shone that day when she had banished dremora back to Oblivion. Indeed too bad that she couldn't understand what he meant when he has called her a little "wyrm".
I like how even at a young age Dannee stood up for her friends and was a fast learner as she is today... kind but tough... not hiding but standing her ground for what she believes in...
It was a wonderful story filled with great life lessons for little Sophie and at the end as she went off to sleep I think she has learned all she needs to be for Dannee is herself...
Amazing shots Nataly....
Thanks again! Young Dannee was a little dragon back then, always ready to stand her ground and fight for her friends, showing courage and guile.
And thank you very much for your kind words, I am very glad that you've liked this story and shots!
Was wonderful to see another glimpse of Dannee's childhood, bravely standing before that Dremora to keep her friend safe, keep her calm as she knew she should be able to use his arrogance to trick him, that book she sneaked off with giving her the knowledge she needed, a bit of the recklessness of youth helping her, it is fotunate that her or her friend did not end up another mage fallen like in that book. Such a great lesson she taught Sofie with that tale, showing the wisdom of not dabbling in power one cannot control, seems it swept some of her worries away. It is sweet how Sophie also worries for Dannee, both show that great kindness they have in their hearts. A wonderful heartwarming chapter, Nataly
And you are right about morality in Dannee's story, she always eager to show Sofie that she loves as she is and also tell the girl about the danger of dabbling in knowledge of magic that she would not comprehend. Dannee herself was lucky in her childhood, that because of her blood, or otherwise she would be a toast, but thanks to her bloodline and wisdom she managed to win.
great work Nataly
