Nice to see Dannee enjoying her time and taking satisfaction with how things are going ut alas she is Dragonborn and she knows too well she be thrown back in the fire sooner or later

You've got me so conflicted with Sam and Dannee's relationship!!
I adored the cook off and I have to kind of admit that I hoped Serana's rotten cooking light somehow blow everyone away but ultimately knew it'd be Sam that won (he'd make it that way even if he wasn't a good cook right?). Sofie is a sweet little thing and she has a real adult head on her shoulders; a knack for seeing things that others don't or (won't) say. Somehow she would actually make a perfect daughter for Sam and Dannee; she knows how to ground them both.
I have a feeling that something is going to happen soon to shatter is idyllic little interlude the 'family' are having. Waiting with baited breath...
Thanks again! Cook off was fun and you are right, Sam would win anyway because he is a trickster and not off to cheating, so Serana was doomed to lose that contest. Sofie is indeed has adult head on her shoulders, sadly in Windhelm her childhood has ended when she became orphan so she has much more mature mind than any other kid in Whiterun. And you are also right that she would make perfect daughter for Sam and Dannee, she has such character that could ground and also cheer up them both.
Well, nothing lasts forever, nor happiness and no despair, the future might be unpredictable but for now Dannee sure deserved some rest and happy family time.
Love the training of little Sophie. It seems she could be a warrior too some day if she chooses.
It seems Dannee is very happy now and I wonder if she will turn more to home life if she can turn away from the life of an adventurer. Hopefully she can find a balance.
And Sofie indeed drams of warrior career, she wants to be like Dannee and also be independent, so she could protect herself when she will grow up.
Yes, Dannee is very happy, she loves such respites, yet her dragon blood doesn't not let her sit idly all days long, so she tries to make balance between these two spheres of life.

A great set. Often I get lost in your story and don't notice the images as much, as you write in depth and I tend to be focused on that. But I went through a second time just to look at the images and you really put a lot of care into them.
The poses for one - so much better than anything I have the patience for. Even a hug between Erik and Grim is hard because Grim is so tall lol! Grims hands tend to be to high :p But you have all those great romance shots with Sam down so well and I know that can take some patience to set up and take. But with your shots it looks so natural, so easy, so like they are actually there doing it and you are just making a movie.
The cooking shots were great - setting up the food, the cookbook, the glances and expressions, all that detail you put into you images really shows when you stop to look at them. So many great outfits (your characters must have a massive wardrobe, well except for Sam and his traditional black - which I like very much).
The story was great - the cook off was fantastic, and you know ... I am very glad Sam won as he should. Serena is a horrible cook and I think it would have been out of character if she had won. Also I think this is how a family is to some degree. Not perfect - love beneath the surface but not always on top. Seems like Sam is enjoying himself, to his surprise, and is having a good time. It almost seems like his problem with saying he loves Dannee is that he does not know what love is having never felt it. He seems to be trying to figure out what he feels and while he knows the mortal words for it he is Daedric and doesn't have experience in it .. so perhaps he is honestly confused and unable to tell Dannee he loves her as he doesn't fully recognize the emotion? Just a thought based on how he seems to be having trouble labeling his emotions (i.e. the part about feeling "fondness" and "no that isn't right ... more than that") or maybe I am wrong and he does but just can't admit it.
I get the feeling Dannee is a bit of a possessive Dragon, which can be good and bad. Good because she will guard and care for her own treasures - interesting how you said she would guard her treasures ... because you know ... that is how Sam sometimes looks at things and she gives him a hard time about it ... and yet here she is doing the same thing. Both of them are prideful and strong yet Dannee seems to have finally reached a point where she is willing to admit what she wants, and needs, and is trying to accept that with Sam. Same is getting there but still seems to be a bit lost. Hopefully he will come around

Thank you very much for kind words about shots! It can be challenging to do pair and group shots, because this takes a lot of time and patience. I can understand how hard it is to get Grim into a hug with Erik, Grim looks so very tall, o this can be tricky.
Kitchen shots were the hardest to do but I was very happy how it turned out and very glad that you've liked them!
Thanks again! Yeah, Serana was destined to lose in cooking competition, she is just horrible with food but her pride won't let her admit it even though it is obvious for everyone. Sam sure had a joyful moments showing her this and getting her a payback for her earlier words directed at him. I think you are right about Sam, he has a problem with recognizing love and admitting it, he prefers to view his feelings for Dannee as passion mixed with fondness trying to brush off the notion that it is something more, though occasionally his thoughts became confused.
Indeed, Dannee is possessive Dragon, she is incredibly protective of her dear ones, like dragons guard their treasure, she guards those she loves and cares about, while of course Sam with his lifestyle gives her draconic nature trouble, because obviously she can't make him stay unless he wants it, though she is coming in terms with that. and you are right, Sam with his display of possessiveness infuriates her at times while she possesses the same quality, but she kinda overcome her jealousy.
Yeah, Dannee indeed admitted fully what she wants and needs, letting go of her past while Sam has harder time, but they both try to find a common ground with this notions and maybe in time they eventually will.
I love all these animations and those where they are at the table, it's so well done
