So.. this version on Nexus was abandoned with only the Steam Workshop version still being updated, which is annoying to those of us who have the game on other platforms... :(

I cant get the mod to start....every time I go to start new game, I pick it, then it boots me back to the menu screen. I have Dragonfall installed....plz help!
If anyone comes around wondering if this is either alive or dead:
a) the original dev has abandoned it, first here, then on Steam Workshop; b) the project was picked up by another member Steam community (last update Aug 23rd, 2015), you can find it by googling "shadowrun unlimited RIP steam"; c) please note there's an added "RIP" to the mod name; d) no, the main quest was not completed, as of this date.
I've downloaded it from Shadowrununlimited.com, how do you install it? and is the steam version of the mod updated more than that one?
I've done a little searching and it looks like the steam version might be a lot more up to date, but I have GOG shadowrun, so am I out of luck??? I can only use the old versions here or shadowrununlimited.com?
Pretty much. I stopped playing because armor is bugged and wouldn't update no matter what which would be a non issue if my rigger didn't desperately need it on account of her getting ganked all the time. Let's just hope that if it ever gets finished, it'll come here eventually too.
okay thanks, that really sucks. maybe I'll try playing it anyway. What do you mean by armor being bugged, is it so bad that it literally does not work at all, like no difference between wearing armor and equipped with nothing?
I probably shouldn't have bothered asking about how to install mods, should have known a game with a major focus on user content would be very simple to do. i figured it out by googling.
Good ideas. My problem is... it's too much grinding, that is why I won't play it. And that is a pity. I'd like to have a choice regarding the speed. If I want more karma/street cred/heat/and so on per mission, I should be able to play it that way. I even tried to look into the files, but I cannot solve this.
