    I haven't played for a long time, so I can't assess the changes. You need to add screenshots of the original, for comparison.

    Hi Bonnett,

    do you know in which file the HUD numbers 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 for the item quick bar are? I want to make them transparency for my HUD mod, but I can't find the file.

      Thanks, but that's not the correct file. Or I just can't see any numbers in there.
      For the normal HUD it's the file, but not for the numbers somehow ...

      Sorry, I got you wrong. I think the numbers are in documents.pak. I will see if I can find them but I don't think I will, because most of the files can't be readed.

      If you want to make the full Quick Bar invisible, you can add "ShowQuickBar = false;" To your UserConfig. Add it after the entry for subtitles or for the minimap.

      Hmm, this entry didn't work for me. The quickbar is still visible. But it would be very great if I could get it working.
      I put the entry after the subtitles and then after the minimap entry, but no effect. I also changed it to:
      ShowQuickBar="false"

      But when you find a way to make the numbers transparency, I would like to have 50 % semi-transparency.

      I'm sorry, its "ShowQuickSlots".

      If it is still not working, you can also add it to the ConfigDefault. It should look something like this:

      <Game ShowQuickSlots="false" DLC1="true"[.....]

      So, I'm just waiting for an improved version of your mod that only removes the white shadow area fog.

    After installing the documents.pac there is no fog effect or rays of light in the jungle
    ps realistic colors in mod! but there is no more fog effect :(

      I know im resurrecting here but i can confirm what this guy is saying, no more volumetric fog or godrays in the normal jungle. There was some fog in the isle of fog however

    Thanks for sharing this mod.

    One big problem I have is that my fps gets really low. Im running GTX 980 in sli and have great performance in normal game. But with this mod I have around 20 fps. Is is something Im doing wrong and can it be fixed?

      That's weird. I have around 40fps with my GTX760 in 1440p.
      Is it always rhat low or only at certain places?

    Hi, does this mod also remove the ugly red hand glowing? If not, do you know how to remove it? I think this effect is a major atmosphere killer.

      Hmm, I think nobody could do it better than you. I totally HATE this effect. Please, can you try to find a way how to remove it?
      This would be a very big improvement of Risen 3.

      I tested your mod and it looks great in some cases. I like the darker caves and the removed white fog on shadow areas!!! But there are still some white trees that looks quite odd now as you can see here:

      And during a thunderbolt the colors are just b/w as you can see here:

      And I noticed that the fire light is by far too intensive:

      But except Antigua I prefer the original colors of all other isles. Calador, Kila, Takarigua etc. have now less distant fog and too much contrast. It would be great if you can fix this issues and refine the colors a bit to create the best possible atmosphere/experience. Or I would like to have a mod without changed isles colors.

      I have no idea how to remove this effect. If I find it out, I let you know.

      I'm reworking this mod right now. But it will take some time.

    Wow, you and NeffO deserve a medal for this! Truly amazing atmospherics, and I couldn't imagine playing through Risen 3 without your AI mod. Endorsed in a heart beat.

    My only issue is that sometimes some of the textures abruptly change color just by moving the camera a smidge; on Calador, for example, many of the rock and ground textures have almost an almost purple hue to them at times, but moving the camera a bit causes that purple 'hue' to jarringly vanish. Very strange.

    It's definitely related to the FX mod and not your AI mod, because with the vanilla documents.pak OR your AI documents.pak, the issue isn't there.

    Any idea what's causing this? I can upload some screenshots if it'd help.

      First, thank you for your kind words, I really appreciate that.
      It would be nice if you could upload some screens. I created only the first version of the FX mod, so I can't promise, that I am able to fix it, but i'll give it a try. The issue may be related to a effect, which makes the surfaces look wet.

      Alright! Sorry to bother you with this; it's far from gamebreaking, just a bit annoying; no settings have changed between the two screenshots, i just tilted the camera it a bit between each. One of these comparisons shots is on Taranis, the other on Calador with, as you said, the wet surfaces:

      It's sad because otherwise, this mod is amazing!

      Thanks for any help, and it's no trouble if you can't, it's very, very minor issue, more just a personal annoyance if anything.

      P.S. I took a few screenshots with this mod and the texture mod; let me know what you guys think! It also features a custom reshade I made because vanilla seemed too red to me. I'd be happy to give you it if you like it.

      You' re not bothering me at all. For me, it is always nice to see that someone pays attention to my work (or in this case neffo's and my work). I should be able to upload a fix today or tomorrow.

      Thanks! I'll try it out shortly. I can barely believe that just with the AI tweaks you implemented, it transformed the combat from overly easy to actually challenging and very enjoyable. I hope PB takes your mod into consideration when designing the melee combat in ELEX.

      Since two of the main features from the enhanced edition are the overhauled clouds and the new postprocess effects, this mod isn't compatible with the non enhanced version.

      You need to use the documents.pak in the file "FX Mod + AI Mod", which you can download under the files section on this side.
