    A: Rename ReShade32.dll to OPENGL32.dll

Q: Which version of SweetFX should I use?

Q: My 64bit system (especially Win 8.1 for some reason) is having issues with Reshade/SweetFX2.0, what's up?

I found the process of getting this reshade to work laborious. So, I made a simplified package with all the necessary files. Simply drag and drop the contents of the zip into the folder containing the Pillars of Eternity EXE, then run the game.

    ENJOY!

Kudos theesh. Thank you. If I get time I'll update everything into a simplified package (I've done some more minor tweaking so I guess it'll be a general update here at some point).

Here's the weird thing. Last night I was playing and it looked fantastic with the vanilla experience --sharp, 1080p, 60FPS, crisp and beautiful.
This afternoon, I unzipped the contents of the easy install version into the Pillars of Eternity folder and fired it up, was greeted by a lovely and familiar SweetFX splash screen logo and I could already tell that the title menu was very vibrant and colorful. As soon as the game loads, it drops 20FPS and looks like it's running in 1280x720...and those colors that I seen in the title menu didn't seem to translate into the actual game, as it did at the title screen. I figured, "okay, must be the SweetFX files. I deleted all that I zipped into the Pillars root directory and no more SweetFX splash screen, so I figured it was uninstalled, except the game is still blurry, but now with faster FPS. I'm guessing it still thinks it's running in OpenGL? I deleted all files associated with SweetFX, even the OpenGL.dll. It's either that or it overwrote some INI file settings somewhere, but I don't see any config files for this game.

Turn off SMAA, if you still need more performance and FPS turn off Lumasharpen as well. If this doesn't help you PM me (I probably won't see it otherwise) and I'll show you how to use another mod on Nexus to turn down in game tesselation.

I'm really loving the vibrancy of this, though the slight graininess is the only thing I don't enjoy, I assume this is due to sharpening? Is there a way I can tweak this myself to lower it without losing the other effects?

Lower the 'Lumasharpen' feature under in Sweetfxsettings.txt

Look at my other mod Neutral Shaders of Eternity and copy the Lumasharpen numbers from that into this preset. That would be easiest.

For some reason the game just won't launch with this. I've followed both the video tutorial and hyperr077's method separately with the same results, the game just won't launch

Found out the problem, the little box that pops up when you launch doesn't seem to like WindowBlinds app. Added it to the Exclusions list for WindowBlinds and it works
