About this video

Starting Chapter 07: Enhanced Combat Magick with some cleaning up.

Cleaning up OBMM and Save Game folders from unnecessary files.

First I'm cleaning my OBMM archive from - almost :) - all OMODs I do not use in my active game.
I do this by opening OBMM and select in my obmm\mods folder the omods I want to remove.
MAKE SURE YOU CLOSE OBMM BEFORE CONTINUING !!!!!!
When OBMM is closed I cut and paste the selected OMODs in a temp folder where I keep them for the time I'm installing everything but when I'm done I will - probably - delete most of them.
Main reason for this is that if something goes wrong in the "future" you should look for solutions "forward" on the Nexus with new, updated files instead of looking "backwards" to these "old" files.

Next I empty my saved games folder @ Documents\MyGames\oblivion\saves
I do this because I do not need any of the old saves any more AND because the number of my saved games has rissen above 100 which is my personal "clean up" criterium here.
I'm putting these saves - except the one I continue to use - in a temp map and when I have enough new saves to repeat this process I replace all old saves with these new saves.
With this done I rename the save I left into nr. 1.
As a remark, you might want to keep "special saves" - on a save spot before trying out a new mod - in a special map ... as a modder however I make many saves while testing my work and later I change the location where these saves where made and this immediately makes these saves "corrupt" so most of my saves are only useful a limited time ...
