In this vid I'm showing a small section of the western rocky labyrinth side of the ELT landscape while going from the AKE playerhouse [San Path, Topal Bay] to the Halfway Inn [ELT playerhouse] on the Topal Bay shore.
Had many problems making this vid :(
I've made ELT Walkabout in 2010 for higher level players at high end machines and though I'm using the ENB boost now, this landscape is still a much too heavy load on my [XP 32bit, GTX285] system. To survive here I have [turned view distance down to 75%, grass distance down to 50% and I've turned distant land off] in the video options menu and this gave me a general framerate of about 30 though the horizon - while going downhill - looks really bad. I had some loading issues when going from one cell to another [short freezes etc] but it was all managable ...
This all changed when I tried to record it with Bandicom.
When I started a recording - while having 30 FPS - my game frooze, I had to reboot my pc [which takes a lot of time on an XP system]  and after three failures I concluded that this was not going to work with Bandicom :(
In my 2015 AKE Testing playlist [https://www.youtube.com/user/AngkorBonsaiberg] I try to make a consistent story showing my avatar going from A to C via B so I wanted to record this journey from the AKE playerhouse to the ELT playerhouse.
Thus I turned to good'ol Frapps to do the job with many short [30 sec] segments and used the YouTube editor to merge them into this vid. Easy as this sounds there were many problems on this path, first of all it's hard to make a fluid story with 30sec segments, to do this I made many segments each showing a - very - short part of the route, then I found that each of these 30sec segments takes up about 1GB of space on my disk - which was full in no time - and last but not least it took hours to upload these Frapps segments to my YouTube channel.
This all being said and done however,  I'm glad with this vid because it shows not only me going from A to B but also betty's jungle landscape, the ELT [V1.1] landscape with betty's Cambodian replacers, a modified version of Muggrugs Sub-tropical south [no more palms in rocks, etc] and my fix for the Ayleid bridges not visible from far,
