You may need to change the date to a more recent one such as yesterday to get this working properly with other mods.

If you are struggling to see the difference try changing your field of view to zoom into the distance. (console: "fov 25", to un-zoom / reset "fov 75")
It works best with the other LOD mods as well, definitely an improvement over vanilla and I prefer HTF to Koldorn's.
Could you please explain what this mod does and why it is needed? I can't discern much difference between the vanilla and enhanced screenshots (I don't know what to look for, however). Also, what is the difference between the two files offered for download? I performed a brief search for "pepper effect" but found little useful information. My apologies for the noobish questions, but your description is somewhat lacking. Thanks for any info you can provide.
Oh I forgot - since this is a mod for enhanced LOD textures showing it on these kind of textures is of course the right thing to do BUT I have to agree with Xeno: You should provide new screenshots where the camera is fixed and shows lots of ground (starting area is just fine) so we all can see the very nice new noise effect. The little program FRAPS is great for taking quick screenshots.
Good job HTF - much improved over the original noise! I'm using HTF2 and it blends perfect with my enhanced landscape LOD textures so you get my thanks and a nice big 10.
If you look at them side by side they arn't and the point of this mod is to benefit users of LOD landscape texture packs so showing it without one would be a tad pointless. Sure it benefits people not using texture packs too but it is primary function is to make it less peppered (pepper is what the defaults need) and it does that and the screenies show it.
This position was chosen because it shows what it will look like as you are walknig around in game, not some manufactured shot that half the time it will never look like. I am an experienced modder and I know how to accuratly screenshot something. These are screenshots not promo shots afterall.
A small tip for you HTF, you should never demonstrate a graphical tweak on top of other major tweaks. Also, pick a better location (ie side of a mountain) to demonstrate your new noise effects. The screenshots provided were VERY unclear.
