There any way to reduce the number of friendlies in the gates? There's literally the population of a small city inside every Oblivion Gate I go into now, even when the friendly spawn probability is set to 0. And they're almost all Level 20 Champions and Warlords and Arch-Wizards, so they've nearly wiped the entire map before I've even arrived.
Ironically, this mod has so far made it seem like the Oblivion Crisis was completely underwhelming in-universe.
Yeah, I've had the same issue. I haven't played without EDI in many years but I realized now that it makes invading the gates too easy and not intimidating at all. It's hard to feel scared when they wipe out everything and you have a bunch of level 20+ badasses killing everything for you. Plus the mod settings don't even work. The author hasn't logged in for a decade so we're just screaming into the wind, which sucks because this mod's ideas are wonderful.
For some odd reason the Captain in Bruma city not recognize the Dwarven helmet I have and keep saying "I don't see any helmet on you" .. is there a specific helmet I must bring to him or something?..
This mod is overwriting the "Script Effect" magic effects and changes made by the Unofficial Patch as well. In order to command the troops, the mod author used the "Script Effect" magic effect, and removed all visual magical effects from it for immersion. I used TES4Edit to put the magic effects and icon used by UOP back to the script magic effect.
It would be a good idea to post it on The nexus. I only found your updated link in the comments by chance, since I randomly decided to view them.. You'd get a lot more hits that way. Not to mention that the page you linked doesn't supply a download button without creating an account. We already have an account here.... >.< .. Until then, I'll have to pass... As I'm sure many others will as well. I don't really need to see Guards and Daedra kicking the s*** out of each other that badly. I'm not sure why you didn't post to the nexus, but If you're getting some kind of kickback from using that site, perhaps you should just link a patreon here. I'd actually be more likely to reward you that way, as would others.. and it would probably be more profitable anyway.
I just uploaded a fixed version. There were many issues with ai packs and some scripting errors. It has the aggression fix merged in and sound files as well. Next will be a patch for OCR.
