Acutally, Matrix, all Mer are descendants of Aldmer, not Ayleids, although the Ayleids are distinct from the High Elves because of their adapatation to their environment.
well Fanboi I hate to break it to you but actually High Elves are an ethnic group of Ayleids, not the other way round. Pretty much all of the current elvish races are descendants one way or another of the Ayleids.
Dwarf races have been made, don't know if any are the Dwenmer in particular tho'.
Any plans for more lore-based races? I personally would love to see ayleids (particularly as a few are supposed to still reside in Cyrodiil!), imga, and maormer.

i heard about these guys while playing tes 3, nice to see some one knows some lore - they are thought to be extinct though, but nice job
The Ayleids were just an ethnic group of High Elves. They were called the "Heartland High Elves" because Cyrodiil is in the middle of Tamriel.
I would like to see Dwenmer as well, though.
