Hi,re-reading my last post i feel it sounds very negative where i actually was responding in the context of your request re. "insperation for mods" You obiously have the talent and the knowledge to make race mods [which I do not!] what im asking you to consider is the planned nature of a new additional race for the game, i.e. certainly the more "out there" physical looks etc are interesting and unusual abilities fun ,IMO new races need to be balanced etc so that there are always pros and cons to weigh before choosing to play one, as in say very tall but not not strong,very strong but too dumb to cast magic, real good at magic but terrible with people so nobody likes you, that sort of thing.....
I hope i didnt put you off submitting more mods or whatever because after all its people like you who thru their efforts make the game more fun for all the players out here.
Why would anyone want an "almost invincible" character right from the getgo?I'm not trying to be unpleasant, I honestly just dont get it. Surely a major part of the gameplay stems from balancing various racial/class/skillset pros and cons as you create/play your character through the game? [IMO the same goes for the myriad of uber items available, why?] A good example of an interesting new race might be say the "Baux" who at first glace seem underpowered if anything[i.e. small,physically weak etc] but show themselves capable of survival due to their redeeming traits..............maybe its just me,I dunno.
Whats up witht his trend lately of creating race and not posting pics. This is really pissing me off, but you arent the only one who is doing it. There is a tutorial on it in the wiki guide, i think. Sorry to write the first negative comment for your mod man.
