What I think would improve the night sky of oblivion (apart from reducing the number, or increasing the variation in magnitude, of the stars so that we could make out patterns and constellations) would be animated objects like other planets, supernovae, comets and meteors (daytime eclipses would also be great). I don't know if any of this would be technically possible.

    1) This looks beautiful, and even using the "ultra" version, there is no appreciable fps hit, even with my lowly Nvidia GeForce6600.

2)As with every other texture replacement file for every other mod out there simply overwrite the original skynebula01.dds file in the DataTexturesNaturalEnvironmentsSky, and SURPRISE! it works perfectly without all this author's nonsense about "injecting the textures into the stars.nif mesh file". I'm not sure what he's smoking, but it must be pretty good stuff.

3)This is a nebula, not a nebular. You see nebula is a thing called a noun, nebulae is the plural (that means more than one) of the noun nebula, and nebular is something called adjective which describes a noun. Don't they teach basic grammar (or spelling for that matter) in schools these days?

This is actually one of the best nebular textures I have seen -- however, it is too red for me. <img class=">

Thanks for your apology and sorry my description seemed a little vauge i'll re-wirte it as soon as i get chance and i'll update the main rar file to include the NE fix

Anyhows did you get it working &/or did the fix i posted work for you?

HrafnHrafnson thanks for your kind words,i say "its not much" because i feel that few hours it took to make and test this texture pale into comparison with something like OOO or NE(or the 100's of other mods out there)where the authors have spent hours on hour of testting and tweaking for use all to enjoy a better game,so again i dedicate this to there hard work and to all the ppl who take the time to download and check out these's mods & leave feedback just like your goodself's

Many Thanks for all the coments sofar

Sorry. I apologize for my rude and childish behaviour. I just lost it after trying to get it to work with NE for like an hour straight! I became very frustrated. I'm so sorry.

How can you say "it's not much"?
Sometimes one well-placed touch can do a whole lot - and that's what you did.
Thank you for this, it's magnificent (and more than some of the courtesy-impaired deserve).

Can't you just tell us what to do? Rather than read that dumbass long crap you put in the readme file? You said you dont' like to type yet you gave the longest and most boringest explanation (made no sense) on how to do it.

Your pooten me with this arent you?

If your using Natural environments (by Kibosh) you'll need to inject this texture into into the

    DatameshesNaturalEnvironmentsskystars.nif

file using TR v2.0 - Texture Replacer (included in the extras folder of this rar file)
please see the User-Interface section of the TR readme for info on how to do this(its really easy about 4 mouse clicks!)

Its really easy?!!! Slap out of it bro.
