i have a problem i'm using better cities with this and the compatibility patch, but now because the market district is all redesigned i can't find the black horse courier article to start this mod's quest. anyone got any ideas where it is?
I had this question to, with running Better Cities and their IC Market District redesign, the Black Horse Courier article is not where the Mysteries of the Dulan Cult mod creator says it is. Unfortunately, I found no answers online about this as of 2020, so I'm putting this up hoping it will help the next person with this question.
Eventually, I found the BHC article "Discoveries Near Anvil..." on the ground, on the stone slabs of the Market District, near a cart and between two columns just in front of the Office of Imperial Commerce, but it can probably be found other spots too. Nothing in the article really screams "Cult", so it's easy to miss it, but it mentions an abandoned house near anvil.
Picking up the BHC article doesn't add a journal entry. I just started Mysteries so, in fact, I'm not sure if it uses journal entries or not yet, so just read all BHC items you pick up carefully if you also have Better Cities. Better Cities also seems to use BHC as well for some quests. Hope this helps someone else with the same question.
When an author has a minimum of respect towards the players he takes the trouble to test his creation before releasing it, among other things to ensure the objects effectively appear and not in purple.
The mod is good but you shouldn't have been so neglecting.
I started a new game, went to fort Urasek and 5k gold in the chest outside the fort, then other 4k inside in the first chest. This mod was the culprit... uninstalled.
Careful with downloading this mod -- TES Editor shows a LOT of cells edited, but none of this is evidenced in the game. I think this is what they call a "Dirty Mod".
Texture paths in the sword nifs wrong and/or pointing to DDSs that are not included in either the mod or the vanilla BSAs. How anyone can give this 10 out of 10 is beyond me. The mod really needs to be updated.
See through Cultists was fun at first; but after reading all of the comments, it seems this problem was never addressed.
I've installed over 50 mods and never had a problem like this, I manually installed it and I can't see cultist's robes and some meshes.
I'm guessing it's because the graphics in my Oblivion settings is set too low. Although it still doesn't account for the big yellow exclamation boxes in some places.
I got into this game too late to hope for a reply. Apparently I can still finish the mod though, as the "bosses" aren't see through.

Reinstall your textures and make sure your archive invalidation is set.
They're just all purple...
Any Suggestions?
