The orange and pear trees worked fine. The apple trees did not. However I was really only after some trees to fill a large empty area in my garden. So I was pleased to find this mod. I was pretty happy with it untill I noticed that anything added to my garden after the trees were planted, didn't save and would be gone next time I loaded the area. Fortunatly I hadn't gone very far before I noticed this. I removed the mod and loaded from an pre-tree save. I'm dissapointed that this mod didn't work for me. I will check back ocassionally to look for fixes though.

Ok... got tired of the yellow things, so I disabled the tree causing the problem. The tree is now gone, but apples still generate, thus I still have yellow exclamation marks. ???? Help?

@ Orionza: See at the top of this comments section it says 'View All' which is a link? If you click there, you go to forum which shares same data and it is editable!!

EDIT: I managed to work up the courage to look at it in CS and found that the nifs needed for the Apple Tree (the Orange and Pear were fine) were not pointing correctly. I browsed to the right file and the trees are fine now.

When I deactivated it, in an attempt to remove the trees so I could replant in a better spot, all that happened was they stopped being fruit trees and stayed in the game as if they were ordinary Oblivion Vanilla trees.

I clicked on them and deactivated them, then replanted. It worked fine until SI was installed and I got the yellow things instead of apples. It is only the apples. The pears and oranges show up fine and when I get close and pick the apples, the tree is visible and the yellow goes away until the apples grow again.

I haven't attempted to plant any new ones since SI either, so I can't tell you what that might have done or not done besides the yellow marks. It does take like 3 days for them to grow. Did you 'water' them with the hose spell that got added to your spell menu? Every time you water them they get bigger and add a few more of the fruits.. of course, in your bedroom you won't want them to grow much. I planted mine in the yard of the Benirus Manor, which I own and have the quest complete on. Planted some at another house too, but I forget exactly which one. I use Benirus mostly.

It doesn't seem to affect any other apples in the game.. just the ones that are supposed to be on that tree.

OK this is weird. It TOTALLY stopped working for me. I uninstalled the mod and reinstalled it, and loaded a save from yesterday (I'd planted tthat tree this a.m. and it worked so I was sure a save from yesterday would work.) Nothing. And I've loaded no mods between the time I planted the one this morning, until the failed attempts this afternoon. Extremely strange.
