1. DESCRIPTION

Do you miss the character customisation that you had in Arcanum, Fallout and Daggerfall? Back in those games, you could choose backgrounds that would define your character's personality, past and events that changed him.
This is what this plugin does.
A group of writers has recently arrived in Cyrodiil. These writers prefer to write real-life stories isntead of fiction. In fact, all of the books they wrote were the tales of adventurers they met and interviewed.
The writers want to interview as many adventurers as they can before moving to their next destination.
You are a total stranger to the people of Cyrodiil. If deeds were to be made by you, may they be good or bad, wouldn't you want your background known? Famous or infamous, people for generations to come would love to know what motivated your actions, what made you imprisoned on that special day, what benefits you got from adventuring...
What was your teenage like? What jobs did you do? Is there any special event during your childhood that changed you forever? Or maybe you suffer from a phobia or weakness that prevent you from doing normal activities? For what crime were you put in jail? What motivates you in a life of adventure?
Only the wandering writers will help you forge your background, your past life.
Welcome to Role-Playing Character, the first of a possible come-back of the Role-Playing Oblivion. A remake of Role-Playing Morrowind's plugins. Plugins where Role-Playing is put in the first place.

2. Version Changes

2.1 :
- Fixed the bug where you could re-do the interview again and gain infinite bonuses.
- Fixed the Hunter's background that gave the player a constant health loss.
- The writers will now notice that you've completed the background process and will tell you the appropriate dialogue.
- Leyawiin's citizens no-longer have the "I HAVE NO GREETING" dialogue.
- Nocturnal's background does not show as Meridia anymore.
2.0 :
- Added more than 70 new backgrounds.
- Placed a writer in new locations for easier access.
- Removed the Hand-To-Hand malus in the "Hand-To-Hand Training" background.
- Added 12 new fan fictions for sale.
- Added journal entries for every background.
- Added a new series of questions for those that don't want to roleplay the "imprisoned" part.
- Written a guide that contains the full list of every selectable backgrounds with their bonuses and maluses.
1.1 :

- The Fame/Infamy system now works properly.
- The weakness "Easily Tired" has been removed due to an unfixable bug that boosted a LOT the PC's fatigue. It will be re-added and tweaked in a future release.
- The Tree-Climber, Circus Troupe, Only Child and Bad Natured With Bows backgrounds now work properly.
- The "Write A Book" topic will now be properly shown in the list of topics.
- The "Yes" answer to the Feral Child background shows properly.
- Corrected typos in the Fan Fics

3. WARNING\CONFLICTS
============================
You can answer his questions anytime in the game, but it's always recommended to do it with a new game. That way, you don't get stat and skill boosts/maluses in the middle of the game.
This mod should not conflict with any plugins, even the ones involving character advancements such as Kobu's. This only adds an NPC with new dialogue and spell effects, so there's no reason it should conflict with another mod.

5. WANT TO CONTRIBUTE?

You can contribute to expanding Role-Playing Character by either sending backgrounds suggestions or also by writing books of your character that I can then put in bookshops for other players to buy and read. Simply send either of them to my e-mail.
What I would appreciate is if you could write a book about what you answered. This way, you can get the book about your character published in future versions!
