I am sorry I don't know just how it works myself. The Omod file I used for this works for me, but unfortunately I do not know how.
The Archive invalidation somehow stops Oblivion from trying to find the original files and allows their replacement with the files in the mod giving the look. I was able to get this to work (don't know how); it is the same OMOD I used on my game. However, I have not been able to get subsequent updates to work.
In my case the head is the Oblivion original model, and it looks ... ok. There is a problem with the neck which is discoloured in some lights. The clothes seem to work for me.
Have a look at Timeslip's page [http://timeslip.chorrol.com/] which is a pretty comprehensive page.
OK. ive just reinstalled oblivion and i would really really love it if i could make the eshme work. the body seems to be ok. but the head from eshme hasnt taken effect. the original oblivion default head is on eshmes body. also, wen i put on clothes from Eshmes clothes shop, the body parts disappear. I have put everything in the right place but i dont understand the archive invalidation stuff. can u tell me wot it is exactly i have to do? im sorry to have to ask this but it would calm me down. thanks
