The mod is very nice, though you could have added a few more things to that alchemical tower or additional chests for the display room. The only bug I get is that the frostcrag map marker disappeared, though the tower is still there. I'm using a teleporation mod so it's no problem for me but other players - be warned.

I'm with rage0976, I like this mod because it's simple and meshes well with vanilla oblivion whereas other frostcrag mods add a tons of custom textures to the point that it almost feels out of place in the game.

I have one slight issue with the mod. My extensions are still present, but the portal to Main 1 has disappeared. Is there any way to fix this without losing the stuff I have stored, especially in the display cases in Main 2?

After the incredibly tedious and ridiculous nightmare that was Frostcrag Reborn, and then the buggy and nearly unplayable Frostcrag Revisited, I've been looking for something that is just a simple expansion to the tower that doesn't include all the unnecessary crap like endless dungeons that have me running down a thousand flights of stairs and winding through tunnels for 8 hours at a time only to find I've accomplished nothing.

I'm also not a fan of the whole Oblivion Gate thing. Seems kind of pointless to me, since it sort of takes the significance of the actual gates in the game away. I simply wanted something that expands the tower a bit. As far as the interiors go, based on the comments of others, ignore their criticism. There is beauty in simplicity, and anyone who has played the endlessly annoying mods mentioned above would agree I think, save a few.

Aside from that, I am not exactly inept at modding myself, so if I really want to adjust the interiors, I can, or if nothing else go to Imperial Furniture and buy some items to spruce it up a bit, which anyone else could easily do instead of bitching and moaning about how lazy the design is. I'll download your mod and try it, and leave a comment and an endorsement if I like it, and possibly some suggestions, or if I make my own tweaks, I'll gladly share them with you to help improve this and shut people with their negative feedback up.

You'll be hearing from me again soon enough.

lol so sad, no hearing for u again in 8 years xD

I agree that some modders think that gaming is doing boring repetitive think, sometimes not even for a reward. They have a lot of work building designs then break it by making boring quests to unlock them or hiding them on hidden switches.

But I disagree on he Oblivion Gate. Even before the MQ, it's very fun and interesting to have my own personal gate. Even if it doesn't have any extra feature over the random wilderness ones, we can role play that we managed to control a gate and have our personal port to Oblivion. Maybe to capture and torture deadras!

Pretty much what Rage below me said, I'm getting this because I do not like FR's Nightmarish Dungeon...

Easily one of the laziest mods I've ever seen. While the exterior is quite impressive, the interior is simplistic and easily made. Also, would it have been much of a bother to create a separate file for it? Some of us have carefully personalized Frostcrags that your mod destroys. I'm fairly sure I've seen a version of this mod - almost identical - made by someone else, though that had an orrery and rechargeable Oblivion gate, but the other rooms were almost identical, so I'm dubious as to whether you made it yourself.

If you can add a re-usable Oblivion Gate it would be perfect!

I have midas and I cast the portal at the very top right next to the portal from the bedroom

This looks cool but what I really want to see are some LOD tex for frostcrag. It's on the precipe of the Jerals yet when you get more than 500 yards or so away it winks out of existence. It would be awesome to look up from the Imperial City and see it there.
