I want to thank Scruggs for his numerous contributions to the modding community over the years. However, if anyone wants a "porters don't follow you" mod, I would suggest this one instead: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/3113/
The difference is that Stabbey's version allows the porters to continue providing armour and weapon repair services while this mod disables that ability. Of course, if you don't need that feature, you can use whichever you prefer.

Worked at first, but just now the Porter in Cheydinhal was not walking, but RUNNING after me, and telling me to leave like he was a shop owner. So... I've deactivated it. Which is really unfortunate, because the porters make me really, really angry.
I remember the first time I went through the Fighter's Guild and noticed one of those porters following me. It made me so mad, I actually killed him. lol. I was gonna make a tweak like this myself, but now I don't have to. Thank you sooooo much! Downloading now and will rate ASAP.
