As much as I like this mod, I would advise everyone to avoid it completely. It has some extremely major implementation problems.
Namely, this mod overwrites EVERY SINGLE NPC thats changed by OCOv2. Not only Martin or the fan. EVERYONE. It also edits every vanilla race and creates duplicates of every single new record added by OCO, like the new eyes.
Needless to say this will create major problems in your load order unless accounted for, overwriting any mod that changes npcs or vanilla races loaded before it. The duplicate records will also be imported into bashed patches if you're using Wrye Bash, adding duplicate eyes in the character creator.
If anyone wants a fixed version of this mod without the ungodly amount of dirty edits and duplicate records PM me and I'll be happy to send it to you.
So does unchecking the original OCO2 esp solve this issue or not?
Edit: I've made an updated bugless alternative to this mod that does not require you to disable OCO and doesn't change Martin's age. Here is the link: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/50543
Hello everyone! I am the creator of this mod. I made this mod back in 2017- I was a kid at the time and was really excited to make mods! However, I have not played or modded Oblivion in quite some time, so I don't remember how to make mods anymore. Now that I am an adult with responsibilities, I have to say that I will not be working on this mod or my other one until further notice. I just don't have the time or energy to put into this stuff like I used to when I was in school. Maybe someday I will pick up modding again, but until then, I hope you enjoyed my mod!
Remember to please read the instructions and un-check OCOV2's esp and check this one instead.
I'm very sorry if it does not work for you or has conflicts with another mod!
This mod seems to do absolutely nothing. I unchecked the Original OCOv2 .esp and enabled this one like it says to do, all in Wrye Bash. Adoring Fan's hair is still the same awful OCOv2 hairstyle. not sure what could be the issue unless its not compatible with also having OCOv2 Seamless installed.
as a heads up, the OCO Horse Armor patch doesn't work with this mod. but getting my horse armored was a simple matter of exiting the game, turning this mod off and the original OCO back on, getting the armor and then switching the mods around again.
I HAD to download this. Poor Martin looked like he had caterpillars creeping out of his eye sockets. I was hoping to find a fix for Corvus (the Gray Fox) too, as he looks utterly cross-eyed in my game. No luck so far. But at least I will now be able to actually listen to Martin speaking instead of staring transfixed at his melted visage.
Seriously though, Martin's face with regular OCOv2 made me strongly consider uninstalling it because his face no longer matched his voice. He was no longer the sweet and pious priest I once knew! Now he is! I love you! :D
Nibba, the original OCOv2 Martin is a Sean Bean face, the face of the voice actor who voiced Martin, don't like it? Then one does not simply understand the making of Oblivion.
