To everyone wondering why this mod is: Lackluster Hard to get into or just weird, guys this is a reupload with some fixed assets,I don't plan in the short term to modify it in any way because I didn't make it,I wanted to reupload it and fix it because I've always wanted to do it since I was like 8 years old wondering why the meshes were all pink and all that stuff,I might have some use of the model(looks really cool) but that's it,if you want to have a great Lichdom experience check this one out https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/49700 It works great and it's fun,use this mod only if you want to mess around or you know admire the cool model that comes with it,that's all
This mod could have added a set of armor that makes you look like a lich and it would have had the same effect. instead, it adds an impractical feature that lasts way to long, can´t be interrupted once initiated and often breaks the game. the passive effects of the transformation are nowhere near worthwhile if you have a high level character and roleplay-wise, it is an utter failure. no npc-reactions, no necormantic spells, no impact on your playstyle and no interessting interactions with characers or factions. this mod doesn´t make me feel like a lich. it makes me feel like a cosplayer. Even the process of becoming a lich is made uninterresting. I´d say that´s the most important part of a lich mod.
in conclusion: well made, but I cannot for the life of me understand or agree with the creative choices of this mod.
I don't know which of the last two caves you refer to,but I'll tell you the position of both:
-To find the penultimate cave, you must start, taking the map as an example, from the outside of the Imperial City to the right in the center and keep going straight ahead of you until you see an ayleid ruin not far from you on the right, that is the penultimate cave where to go
-To find the ultimate cave, you must start from the Imperial City Bridge and keep going straight ahead of you until you find that little lake not far from the Imperial City,on the other side there is the last cave.
Don't know if you've found it yet or not but if you haven't it's pretty far up north and you have to hug the west coast as you go further up. It'll be just south of the westernmost side of the Brena River.
P.s. I added a screenshot on the images page for clarification.
Don't worry, another user has already shown me the location of the cave with the map,I have also written a guide on the mod, marking the position of all the places to go and also the strengths and weakness, statistics and effects of the Lich form. Then I wish publish it on this website.
This mod looks VERY promising, especially if it actually turns you into a lich and not just a robed skeleton, but a detailed walkthrough would be nice. The Tome of Unlife isn't exactly forthcoming with its information.
For anyone wondering on how to start the quest: "To begin the quest, go to Anvil and complete the sidequest 'Where spirits have lease', and read the Tome of Unlife. You'll recieve a series of instructions to recieve your new power". (The one where you have to buy and cleanse Benirus Manor)
Hey does anyone even know how to start the mod? Since the original mod is hidden we have no way of knowing how to start the mod, please if someone knows post it in here. Thanks :)
> a chance to turn back to human via spell, but getting silenced or a health drain > a big malus when working sacred floors, like churches and cathedral?
