Mod Name: Vahi's Wardrobe - Closed For Business

Series: Clothing Building Blocks
Number: 9

Author: Myrystyr
Original Author: Vahirae and Dhkoster
Date: 31/05/2017
Categories: Clothing

Requirements: None

DESCRIPTION

Hello, and welcome to Vahi's Closing Down Sale.

This mod contains all the clothing meshes and textures, but not the sign, from the Vahi's Wardrobe mod.

For role-playing purposes I am assuming Vahirith got into some form of trouble (wandering around town with an aggression of 35 suggests a few things, as does having a few items belonging to Suurootan lying around her shop) and had to close down. As such, her store is now demolished in its entirety; all remaining stock and product lines are taken up by several other vendors across Cyrodiil.

As with my previous building blocks, there is more than one way in which to use this mod, up to and including merger with others if you so desire.

The following esps are included:

1 - VahisWardrobeResource: The clothing items are copied with new IDs. A resource to use as you see fit.
2 - VahisWardrobeVendors: A vendor chest, containing one of each item, is added to several vendors across Cyrodiil. There's at least one each in Bruma and the Imperial City, and one in at least two other towns. Playable immediately.
3 - VahisWardrobeVendorsPlus: Vahi had some loyal customers. The quest script from Recoloured Dresses is adapted as a template, to add clothing to various NPCs. Each item is represented at least twice. Also playable immediately.

The original ReadMe file is included for reference purposes, as is a copy of the script.

INSTALLATION

CONFLICTS/ISSUES

None known. This mod does not modify any cell or worldspace, other than the vendors' shops. The vendor chests in the various shop cells are pushed far enough down and away that they shouldn't overlap with similar chests from other mods.

During playtesting I was not able to track down each and every customer of Vahi's, to see how they look in their new attire. NPCs have lives of their own, you know, and not all of them take fashion advice particularly well.

IN CLOSING

I hope Vahirae and Dhkoster take the demolition of their store in good humour.

I have elected not to adjust the clothing prices according to my Couture Collection Formula, for the time being. They might by adjusted if and when I merge this mod with others, in the foreseeable future. Similarly, I have elected not to include enchanted versions. You can always make your own; Frost Shield seems most appropriate.

Thank you for reading and downloading. Enjoy this mod, and happy gaming.
