I haven't added the tracks to the game itself, but when listening to the mp3s in my media player, the instruments sound very jumbled up and as if the rhythms are tripping over each other. I know MIDI is a strange and aged format, but I know virtually nothing else about it. My question is, if I put the tracks into the game will they then sound how they're supposed to?
These midis were created using an automated software that listens to the original piece then attempts to convert to Midi using the frequencies it hears. It did a good job during some parts, but otherwise that software is very rudimentary for midi creation.
Yeah, the really good midis built out of songs are made by an actual artist tapping them out in a crusty old yamaha piano, usually for karaoke purposes.
