Davidy, a little hint for you to check before posting. Take a look at this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maximilian_armour
Cut from Wikipedia: "The most famous armour worn by Maximilian was gothic-style armour, whic..."

You know that same wikipedia article literally mentions right infront of that sentence that, and I quote: ''Not every armour worn by Maximilian I was Maximilian-style armour.''

This is followed by the quote you posted, OP's point still stands, it's not gothic, it's Maximilian, Maximilian is literally an amalgam of previously existing armour styles that were predominant in both Germany and northern Italy, it can't be the same thing that it evolved from, just like a sallet isn't a kettle hat or a bascinet even though it's design was certainly at least influenced by one of them, or likely both. Maximillian armour doesn't refer to any armour worn by Maximilian, again it's a very specific STYLE of armour, completely separate from the earlier gothic, milanese etc. syles. Both armours have fluting yes but looking at it objectively the maximilian style armours often share similarities with both earlier gothic and milanese, or simply Italian style armours. Maximilian style harness usually includes an armet or a close helm, whereas at the time when gothic was more popular the sallet was pretty much the standard in Germany.

This armour has none of the features of gothic armour apart from fluting and that's very common in Maximilian so that's completely beside the point, just looking at the shape of the cuirass, it's pronounced and rounded with a peak just above where your navel would be, contrast this to the much more flatter and tapering form of a gothic cuirass, made literally to imitate clothing of the period, down to actual fluting that imitates folds. The fact that this passed your attention tells me that you don't really know anything about plate armour and you'd be better off not trying to correct people on this particular topic.

The amazing part is that the timestamp of the comment you replied to must've passed your attention. You'll never get those 30 minutes back it took you to lecture someone who won't ever see this.

These armours need to be scaled up, it makes the wearer look skinny, does anyone know if that's possible ?

This armor is based of real armor which was always tailor-made and thus as "skinny" as possible.

I looks a little strange when I compare it to other Gothic plate armours I've seen, however, That's not to say it's bad: Its a very nice set of armour that is very profetionally made. well done

Oh god... I mean I don't really mind people liking muscular and remodeled armors to their muscles/boobs/waist, BUT THAT WILL RUIN THE REALISM, PRACTICALITY, FUNCTIONALITY OF PLATE ARMOR, like every armor I see in nexus is just molded meshes to their body, jiggling steel boobs, I'm going nuts seeing some armors like that which is a disgrace of 'Steel' and 'Plate Armor'

I agree. too many impractical designs that are either too skimpy or too spikey.
