WHAT IS THIS?
That one is easy: inspired by the RIFT Online "Tarken Iceforged" weapon set, I made a custom, 2hand ice sword. Yay.
Ok, let's be honest: from a mesher's point of view this sword thing is not really on par with the awesome stuff around here.  But back then (the mesh is a bit older xD) this was my first attempt at making a custom weapon, so sue me.

ABOUT
The Ice Fang Sword has it's own, sublte, blue particle effect to imitate icy mist. Look closely, it is really very subtle XD

There are two versions of the sword in the esp: the normal one and a one labeled "glow". This one has the emissive colour set to white, so it seems to glow a bit without actually needing glow maps. Take your pick xD

Sooo, I kinda went all out with the esp. Not only does the sword come with it's own, snazzy chest, NO! There are also two (!) scripts at work here.

1.) Enchantment script: 17 % chance of Blizzard Hit
Blizzard Hit is a funny little magic attack by yours truly - when it is triggered, four ice clouds appear. One hits the enemy you conked over the head with the sword, the other 3 fly off in different directions. Unless there are obstacles in the way, then they just float in the air and dissolve after a while. Yeah. I am a master scripter. Laugh it up. When it works, it is a nice AOE attack with custom sound effects. Also: no recharge necessary!

I SEVERLY advice you to use the mod "No glow a go-go" to erase the glow from enchanted weapons. It greatly improves like, everything. You can find it here on the Nexus.

2.) On-back-script with particle effect
Whenever you sheathe the sword (aka put it on your back) it disappears. Instead, a gentle flow of ice crystals rises from your back to float away (see screenshot). The ice crystal particles follow you around without being too "in your face".
How does it work?
The "On back" - mesh is actually a quiver - which does not need to be rigged to the skeleton. So the particles appear on the characters back. YOU CAN STILL USE AMMO THOUGH!  The particles are scripted to appear and do NOT hog the quiver slot.


YEAH YEAH, GET TO THE POINT! WHERE CAN I FIND THE SWORD INGAME?
The ice shard chest is located just a stone-throw away from Dive Rock (see "location" screenshot). Once you get there, turn to the right and TADA.

BUG:
Sometimes the "chest" has no hitbox, meaning you can not trigger it and get the sword. I have NO idea why that happens. It seems to be a collusion problem. If that happens, re-load your save and make sure you fast travel (!!!) to Dive Rock instead of, you know, climbing the mountain and walking there. It seems that  a re-load of the Dive Rock cell (as it happens upon fast travel) also fixes the chests hit box.


NIFTY. IS THIS SWORD COMPANION FRIENDLY WITH ALL THE SCRIPTED CRAP?
Yes it is. Sometimes the on-back script does not react immediately (in that case trigger it by taking the sword from the companion and giving it to them again), but aside from that everything works fine.
