That looks really good, I love the style, very similar to vanilla but not just a hi-res copy.

PLEASE do castles next, the vanilla castle textures were better thought out than any replacer I've seen but they're crying out for hi-res diffuse maps.

Thank you. Nice idea, i will take a look at it,and if so, use the same design concept!

As you see, the same design, just better textures:

Castle textures would be great! I do like those included in this pack: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/43496/
However, you need to download the entire mod just to get them and many of them have wrong normal maps, so I had to make my own.

But I'm looking forward to what you come up with. These sewer textures do look good in the screenshots, though I find the contrast in the walls a bit too much for my taste.

Uncompressed normals is a good idea, though. I already wanted to compare if compressed full-size normal maps or uncompressed half-size normal maps look better ingame.

It might be the ambient occlusion that is too strong, ill try to make a more subtle effect!

One thing I would consider if you want to revisit the main sewer wall textures is possibly make the gap between blocks was a bit narrower, while the current texture is excellent it looses some of the effect because at the size it is on a vanilla wall there looks to be a bit too much morter and with the normal map and AO effect it can look a little off. The vanilla one also has a variation in shading near the bottom that implies the first few courses of stones are regularly drowned, and it brakes up the picture a bit.

      Just minor comments.

Minor concern, really, the overall effect is very close to Qarl's castle textures, and they're very popular.

Where most castle textures fall down though is that they don't blend the edges of different textures that usually meet at a seam - like the textures on arches or the sloped pillars/buttresses.

Nice. This mod doesn't have bricks which are slimy and blurry unlike QTP and others.

Looks great! Feels generally like Qarl's but MUCH crisper.
The lock texture with the serial number on it looks like modern mass production, I was subconsciously searching for "made in China" on it
Looking forward to see further superb retextures!

Yes, it really is a *little* too modern.

Are you planning on making a series of texture replacer mods? Because that would be awesome!

hi, really nice textures, but i have some sort of bug to report

the sewer dirt texture makes some glowing effect when i lit a torch next to it, it is only shown when i have ENB active

    Torch OFF

    Torch ON

other than that, i didnt see any issue, im using the 2k by the way.
Anyway, great textures, and i hope you keep doing this awesome!

weird, How does it look if you remove the dirt texture and use the vanilla?

      Thank you very much!

ok i just tested it, and it does the same effect with other textures, so i assume it must be something to do with ENB messing up with the alpha layers as usual, my bad

i hope you keep doing great textures!
