I noticed a visual bug with the rubbish floating around during foggy weather. They do not seem to reflect specular effects and appear almost black in comparison with the ambience. I am not using any weather mods or anything that could create this visual error. Is there any way to resolve this?
Fiddle sticks. Wanted to give this a go, but there's definitely something in my mod list it doesn't agree with. Any time I approach a spot with a windmill I get a CTD. Still trying to narrow down the culprit.
EDIT: Deactivated Roads of Cyrodil and associated patches. CTD seems to be alleviated.
If you don't already use EngineBugFixes you might want to start as it fixes a lot of CTDs.
If you crash always at the same point it might be a bad spawn, which is fixed by going into interior location far away and wait for 3 days + 1 hour (so that the spawns would reset) then return and check out whether the CTD is gone or not.
This reminds me I've got a possible patch for this issue (made for 1Mac). I'm going to be super busy in RL for a few more days, but I'll post it soon - this weekend or next week.
I have been using EngineBugFixes for a while now, and I can say crashes are super rare in my experience. Crashes only occur if I have this (or the standalone windmill mod) and Roads of Cyrodil activated at the same time and it only occurs when entering certain areas with the windmills. I gave this a test with existing saves and fresh out of the sewers. Spots like Weye, Pell's Gate, Imperial Isle seem to have CTD issues in all cases with ROC installed. Other spots like Bruma, Skingrad, Odil Farm seem to be okay, but I haven't tested every spot.
Sadly for me this mod destroy fps in a large mod installations (something like bevilex...just to give an idea, maybe there's too much vwd/lod from this mod and UL to handle for the poor oblivion engine) and have some visual glitch related to weather (fog) in combination with AN.
Hi there guys and gals. I really love this mod, but I have been wondering; if I want to disable a few of the windmills is that possible? I'd expect I have to open the mod files in the editor and manually delete the few windmills? Help a newbie understand thanks
Wonderful! I just watched the video and it's simply the fullest and most complete Oblivion I have seen, though I can't see my old PC returning much more than a slideshow
On the other hand though it does give me something to save up for... "a badass PC"
Oh no, I don't mean the video is a slideshow... but simply that with so much content and loveliness in the mod my PC would run the 'Mod' at slideshow FPS, it's an old single core with GS8400 back up PC I'm using... my good one blew up a few months ago!
But what the heck, I can pick this up if/when the replacement shows up!

May I ask if you know if it plays nicely with Weather All Natural?
