Simple but much better map, you wont even feel the difference as its not intrusive. It really helps a loot, for example i was looking for Steed Birthsign Stone but on original map there was no lake in that location on old map but this map have it.
You can create your own map or use one of the existing. Besides given by CarlosS4444 check also: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/45230/?. If you change size of the map, you need to specify new dimensions in esp file. (in the CK tab World/world spaces - Map Data (values in pixels))
Differences. not advantages: This map has vanilla size and includes only the vanilla landscape features. Alenet map has bigger size and includes other mods features (e.g. ROC).

go to your data/textures/menus folder and copy the map folder (which should contain world/cyrodiil_resized.dds),
paste the map folder to textures/menus50 and textures/menus80 folders
Enjoy your adventures in the northern parts of Cyrodiil without getting lost!
