I spend my time to made this one...if someone still complaning about this or that then don't use it... just delete those planks one by one or cut it from the main mesh in 3DS Max if you have time to do it... this is way better to do it than spent lot of time deleting those damn planks one by one like a crazy horse...
this is not intended to replace the vanilla mesh....this is only to use as replacer of mod material if you want to make a mod use this model instead rather than the default vanilla model (change the path of your interior house model) if you use this model to replace the vanilla then the objects in the attic of the interior farm house will not placed well there (chest, chairs, table will be sinking into the floor....)
Apparently the first picture shows the original... the difference is the wooden attic floor, which is composed of many single planks in the original, and it seems all he did was put a simple block shape with a wood texture in this spot. In fact, the original planks are still there inside it. It's certainly one way of doing it, even though not the best.
It's a matter of personal preference which is better. Generally speaking, I'd say the wood texture should be displayed only half the size so that it matches the floor below and the whole shape could be a little thinner.
NEW UPDATE HERE DOWNLOAD IT ! I'm using it for the HEAVEN OF WEYE mod...it use the FarmHouseInterior03.nif as player home... The Haven Of Weye by Me http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/31079/?
hehehehe I made it nicely done this time.....I make it more thin and put it on the two side of the attic.... texturing it ? no way man you see it yourself there are many HOLES between the original planks......
