1. Requirements
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Oblivion Script Extender version 2 or newer. Get the latest version here: http://obse.silverlock.org/
You MUST have OBSE 2 or higher for this mod to work. It will not work properly with earlier versions.

You must also have installed the OBSE plugin 'Pluggy' - make sure it is the latest...
I've use Pluggy Dev v132 again it probably won't work with an earlier version.

The Swag Bag was developed with Oblivion 1.2.0416 including Shivering Isles, OBSE v0021, and over 100 mods of all sorts installed
(incl. Body replacer, Better Cities, Unique Landscapes, quests, you name it). So it "should" work just fine with any setup.

2. Installation
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
The Swag Bag comes packaged as a manual install only... so to install
simply unzip the content of the archive to your Oblivion\data\ directory.

Now just activate the mod using the method of your choice.
Load order should not matter and no vanilla items are changed.
Once the files are in place and the .esp is activated, simply fire up Oblivion, play and enjoy your ill gotten gains.

3. Introduction
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
This bag is almost certainly a cheat...
But... The Swag bag is a Thief's dream come true.

If your character is a member of Thieves Guild Dar Jee will sell you a Swag Bag once you have access to him.
On the other hand if your character is not a member of the Thieves Guild the only person they can buy the Swag Bag from is Shady Sam.
They will sell you more but you can only carry one... trying to add another to your inventory will remove it from the game!

If you do lose it don't worry the contents are still safe... just buy another one to get access to all your items again.

Even though there are a few other merchants who will accept stolen goods...
Only Manheim Maulhand, the merchant at the Inn of Ill Omen will buy from the Swag Bag but mind he only has 50 gold.
All other merchants will reject the SwagBag.
If the Swag Bag is sold to them it will be returned with 'ALL' items unsold.
You will then get the message "Sorry I can't buy those items."

With the Swag Bag you can "Auto" store all your stolen items, and toggle the stolen flag of it's contents.
Also Guards will not find and will ignore stolen items in the Swag Bag.

4. Uninstall
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

IMPORTANT READ FIRST!
---------------------
If you do NOT want to permanently lose the contents of your Swag Bag,
before disabling the mod you must retrieve everything you've put in there.
You have been warned...

Uncheck TwSwagBag.esp
The mesh, icon, texture are in my TW relitive sub directories if you want to remove them as well.

5. How It Works
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
The value shown for The Swag Bag is an estimation only of the content... and is a guide only. You may need to close and reopen your inventory for it to update.

Opening the Swag Bag in your inventory by equiping it reveals its contents the same as any other container.

Activating the Swag Bag on ground will open the menu.
"What do you want to do?" "Auto Store" "Open Bag" "Remove Flag" "Make Stolen" "Pickup bag" "Nothing For Now"

Auto store will move any stolen items in your inventory to the Swag Bag.
You can then use the SwagBag to toggle the stolen flag on/off for everything in there...

This is also a "sell sack" - although only "stolen" goods are bought from it.
Note the SwagBag is sold as a single item but each item is actually check individually.

Shady Sam will buy the stolen goods directly from the Swag Bag - this will NOT count towards your total stolen gold though
Fences will buy the stolen items from the Swag Bag from you get access to them the same as from "Independent Thievery" - this WILL count towards your total stolen gold.

Note. Regarless of yours or the Merchants skills the stolen items will sell at 33% of full gold value or the Merchants available gold which every is the lesser.

Even though there are a few other merchants who will accept stolen goods...
Only Manheim Maulhand, the merchant at the Inn of Ill Omen will buy from the Swag Bag but mind he only has 50 gold.
All other merchants will reject the Swag Bag.
If the Swag Bag is sold to them it will be returned with 'ALL' items unsold
message "Sorry I don't buy those kind of items."

If you want to sell your stolen items to these other merchants you will need to add the content to your inventory first and then sell to them in the usual way.

Guards will not find and will ignore stolen items in the Swag Bag.

For reference here are the fences and requirement for the Swag Bag
