---- XARDAS TOWER - by DavideMitra ----

HOW TO INSTALL:
Copy "Tamriel_15_35.lod" (you will find it inside of the archive distantlod folder) in Oblivion/Data/distantlod folder
Copy "DavideMitra's Xardas Tower.esp" in Oblivion/Data folder
Before start playing, make sure the .esp file is set as active (you can verify it via-Oblivion Launcher).

PS: I strictly recommend you to start a new game. There are no quests at all...but you must discover the path that leads to the tower. If you discovered
most map markers, you will find the tower immediately, and that makes no fun!

HOW TO UNINSTALL:
Save your game in a different cell/worldspace (any cell/worldspace but not Tamriel Worldspace and the tower's interior)
Exit your game and delete both files (the .esp and the .lod file).

INCOMPATIBILITY ISSUES:
Mods that alter the tower surroundings will probably conflict with this modification.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
You don't have to read all of this section. Please only have a look to the interesting questions. Some questions might be useless to you. ;)

Q: I can't see the tower from distant.
A: All right...so:
1) Make sure you installed my .lod file in the correct location.
2) Make sure my .lod file hasn't been overwritten by other modifications you installed later.
3) No solution at all? Once I had a Lod problem with the tower. I don't really know what fixed it...however, I did exit the game, I replaced the
extracted .lod file with the archive one (= I replaced the same .lod file), I rebooted my game and everything went fine!

Q: Is the Atronach dangerous?
A: Yes, but only against your enemies! He won't harm you! :)
Q: Can the Atronach act like a follower?
A: No
Q: So, what's the purpose of that creature?
A: It's a parody of the Ice Golem from "Gothic 1". The Ice Golem guarded the entrance to Xardas Tower: Xardas didn't like visitors at all.

Q: Are navmeshes included? Is this tower a companion-friendly mod?
A: Partially. I successfully navmeshed the exterior path that leads to the tower. However, I wasn't able to properly navmesh the interior. I did some
tests with the adoring fan and with a generic bandit...but 98% of the times they always got stuck near the teleporter. It seems like they don't
recognise it.

Q: Do the containers respawn?
A: Let's talk about the containers you will find inside of the tower. None of them respawns...everything is safe storage!
Q: What about the exterior ones?
A: I didn't place containers outside of the tower. Should you find a container in the surroundings...well...it's not My container.

Q: Is the tower cluttered with non-static items that will fall everywhere?
A: No, everything you see is completely static. Nothing will fly around. I assure you that! :)

Q: How do teleporters work?
A: Jump on the daedric teleporter, then interact with the small teleporters on the wall. The ground floor and the 4th floor have a single centered
teleporter. The other floors have 2 teleporters per floor. The teleporter on the left means "go upstairs", the teleporter on the right means "downstairs"

Q: Is the tower full of loading screens?
A: Absolutely not! The teleporters will always teleport you immediately. There are only two loading screens (main entrance and panoramic balcony).

Q: Do the King of Worms' shoes exist in vanilla Oblivion? I think I never saw them...
A: No, they don't. Well...they exist, but they are called Emperor's shoes. I created a copy of them because they're the only pair of shoes that fit the
robes of the necromancers.

Q: I visited the tower. Is there something I might have missed?
A: Probably. Go to the alchemic lab. Have a look to the table: on its back you will notice a small "door". Inside there, you might consider to store your
alchemic equipment (like mortar and pestle, calcinator etc etc).
