Adds the corpses of slain guards and civilians to the ruins of Kvatch

Welcome to the fourth installment to my Oblivion Immersion Series.  This was a project that got put at the top of my to-do list due to a seeming general interest.  This mod, quite simply, adds slain citizens and guards to the city of Kvatch and its castle interior.  Because when the Daedra go war criming, they REALLY go a-war criming.  This mod comes with two esp files:

- Devastation of Kvatch - Kvatch only
- Devastation of Kvatch

In the Kvatch only file, the city and its main-quest related gate are the only things that have been spruced up with corpses.  In the second file I also added a variety of corpses to the different planes of Oblivion, including: dead adventurers, bandits, Legion soldiers, and Fighters Guild personnel.  All of that is in addition to what the Kvatch only file adds.  Because Oblivion really desperately needed more dead people.  And because it always struck me as strange how the very gates of hell are opening up on Cyrodiil’s proverbial front lawn… and yet the PC is the only one who seems to notice, let alone do anything, about the darn things.

So what's new?  Quite a bit actually.  Response to user requests and my finding a few more bugs has caused me to release a second, more substantial update.  Version 1.1 corrects many of the bugs and dirty edits that got past my radar in the v1.01 update, and adds some new things too.  Now Kvatch and the Oblivion Gates have slain Daedra inside of them.  Because come on, soldiers, mercenaries, and foolhardy adventurers have been charging the gates of hell and the only casualties are the good guys?  The dead Daedra come in all sorts, to make it feel diverse.  And because it would look strange to be fighting Dremora in Kvatch while nothing but dead scamps littered the ground.  An optional file, called the Scattered Weapons Pack, is also included, so that many the fallen will now look like they went down fighting, rather than like a pack of dolts who forgot to draw their weapons. : P

*IMPORTANT NOTICE*

A minor clipping furniture bug was brought to my attention in version 1.1.  Version 1.1 has since been re-posted with this issue fixed.  If you downloaded DoK v1.1 at any time prior to the newest posting time listed on the download page (that is, prior to 19:31 January 1, 2015), then I suggest that you delete the first 1.1 posting and download this new version.

Optional Files
============

The Scattered Weapons Pack is an alternative set of esp files to the main mod.  By request, these files add dropped weapons next to the bodies of slain guards, adventurers, soldiers, and the like.  As with the main version, there are two esps, one being Kvatch Only, and one that covers the content outside of Kvatch.  Dropped weapons will all be fairly low level, so as to prevent early access to high level weapons by low level PCs.  These files are intended to be used as an alternative to the main ones.  If using the Scattered Weapons pack, the main mod must be installed, but the main esp files must be disabled or deleted.  Then choose one of the Scattered Weapons files to use in its place.   The Scattered Weapons Pack can technically be used with any previous version, but is based off of, and thus intended, to be used as an alternative to the v1.1 esp files.

Incompatibility
===============

This mod will be incompatible with anything that edits the layout of Kvatch or the interiors of the Oblivion gates.  The two esp files in this mod are incompatible with each other, so use only one of them.  Using both would be redundant.

This should be compatible with Open Cities and Open Cities Reborn, as those mods do not make changes to Kvatch.

This should be compatible with Oblivifall - Losing My Religion.

This mod is compatible with Kvatch Rebuilt, albeit with some caveats.  So far as I have been able to establish, there is nothing in this mod that conflicts with Kvatch Rebuilt per se.  The caveat is that while the corpses inside Kvatch should vanish as the city is rebuilt, the corpses outside the city gates in front of the Oblivion gate would not never disappear, creating this aesthetic problem of a newly rebuilt, glorious city with a pile of unsightly corpses littering the ground around the front gate.  Thus, I advise anyone interested in using both mods to take the above into consideration.

*IMPORTANT UPDATE*

An internal handler for DoK, including the Scattered Weapons pack, has been incorporated into the release of Kvatch Rebuilt beta version 4.  Anyone interested in using DoK with Kvatch Rebuilt is recommended to update to this version.  Note that this internal handler was designed using DoK v1.1, so any previous version of DoK is not likely to function with this new compatibility feature.

Known Issues
============

While I put this mod through a pretty thorough beta-testing, there is a chance that some of the dead bodies will not be acting dead like they are supposed to be.  I corrected this issue wherever I encountered it, but I may have missed a few.  Please let me know if such errors appear.
Version 1.0 has some dirty edits and, as I discovered, a few improperly havoc-enabled corpses.  Version 1.01 is cleaner, but still has a few dirty entries and the improperly havoc-enabled corpses.
V1.1 corrects all of these issues to the best of my ability.  Astute mod makers may notice that despite the cleaning of v1.1 with TES4Edit, that this mod still has some dirty entries, which are confined to some cells in Kvatch castle and a few cells in some Oblivion gates.  Despite my efforts to remove them, these dirty edits kept reappearing even as I rebuilt parts of this mod.  It appears that placing havoc-sensitive items into certain cells and running the havoc simulation in the CS will cause some objects in that same cell to be flagged as edited even though they were never manipulated by the user.  Best as I can tell, this is a bug in the CS itself.  True or not, there is nothing I have been able to do to remove these edits.

Troubleshooting
===============

Feel free to come to me with questions or issues and I will help as best as I can.  That said, please bear in mind that I am a novice modder and may not be able to offer much in the way of assistance.

Things I Will Not Do
=================

I do not take requests.  Sorry, I don't.  I am a casual modder who does not have the time or skill for additional projects.  I do not want to generate disappointment by promising something that I may fail to deliver.

I don't make resources; I only use them.
