The lightbeam meshes in this sometimes make the hair on NPCs disappear.

Let's see if this helps. If the author is interested, this is the fix:

The lightbeams are still blue for me. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

I been looking for a mod that removes light beams altogether, any suggestions?, I can find nothing, the problem with light beams is if you pass through or stand in one then you can see the dungeons clearly through them even if there is no other light source.

Yes i understand, maybe a solution for this would be using a blank nif file, in other words, deleting the beam but leaving the file, i think it could work

Thanks guys for the positive feedback, i thought this would pass unnoticed, since is not a big relevant change to the game, but like everybody here, i just want to make oblivion as beautiful as can be!

.. there is a better existing lightbeam of bethesda that they have made but didn't use; it's not a static one but an activator; I think they didn't use it because of performance reasons; actually it's an animated nif that doesn't cost much performance; I've discovered it very late .. I can't remember how it's called

but you've nailed it .. the original colour wasn't very good - your version is far better

Nice job! I was so sick of those turquoise beams that I was thinking of replacing them with a blank.nif, but this is much better - thanks

Very nice mod, man! Makes the light look much more natural and just makes the Oblivion world that one bit more immersive. Also looks great with ENB!
