I do mind: please, use a TOP class of armor for chriss sake! I just do not understand why people LOOSE their time in designing stuff for low level armors, and this mod is one of many other armor mods like that : it's just plain stupid, we'll never use them!! Unless your only goal is to masturbate in a closet with your armor while defending yourself against "deadly" coakroches, WHY designing for cheap armor class? *g* guys... WAKE UP!!!!!!!
That said, my comment about the design in itself: it is good. But it could be better... For example, one fleur-de-lys would be sufficient on the shoulder, 2 makes it over-charged and removes finesse and class : it dilutes the dignity and sense of honor such a symbolism must inspire, it looks more like a design for a hockey jersey, than for an armor supposed to display heraldic symbolism...
More over, IT IS ERRONEOUS : the french royal heraldry symbolism uses 3 fleur-de-lys, not two as shown on the shoulder : either you use one, or three. The use of two symbols is used by the english monarchy heraldry and as such this representation of two over-sized fleur-de-lys is an error.
Ok I've been hard on the author who has put some efforts here (the design in itself is clean), sorry about this but heck: when one makes an error, that's life... ;-P
The retextured cuirass is just fine, but it needs a whole set of armor to accompany it. The best place to put the full suit of armor would be on actual Imperial Palace guards, and made playable. It'll make them just a bit tougher, and certainly more impressive looking. As for complaints about the stats of this armor, I'm perfectly happy with adjusting them in the CS.
