You know that Elric Melnibone was a great name in the TES scene? There was a famous site called "Elric Melnibone and the Elder Scrolls" often referred to as just ElricM? Started back in 2005 and closed it's gates in 2012, gone but not forgotten. Sorry for being a bit sentimental.

      Hi!

Oh? I did'nt know that. Interesting that he got so much attention that he got his own site. One have ones beloved fantasy characters. And when such a thing happends as a close down of such a nice site? Then it's easy to get sentimental.
      I know I would.

I do hope that my version at least have acceptable similarities to Elric?

    Hi!

Thanks for the kudos and the good suggestions. :- ) Those mods will be nice additions for those who download my save game. I will keep those in mind for my own usage too.

Naah, the vanilla races, are'nt that useful at all if you wanna make a good looking character? The Elves of the lineage II, Cute elfs, the High imperial race ( human race ) and the n Dywyl race if you want to make a Drow? Is the best race mods I have found so far.

Hope you will take up Elric in Tamriel again now then?

      Hello!
I was just editing my post to add another, final mod suggestion when you posted this.
I am using Nuska's excellent 'Oblivion Character Overhaul': http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/43612/? in my current playthrough, which is incompatible with 'Alternate Race' mods. I will bookmark this for my next playthrough, however.

BTW., I meant those suggestions mainly as modder's resources for this mod. Anyone who wishes to use them seperately as mods to use with this one should read the posts for them carefully before making a final decision, as one or two of them appear to have some issues.

Thanks, and glad you liked my suggestions.

O.k. then I missunderstood the thing about those "mods". I did'nt realize they where just resourses. Unfortunatly I have almost no knowlege about real modding.

      Happy gaming!

Hmm, sounds like you didn't go and look at them after all. They are mods, but I was suggesting that you extract what you need from them to use as a resource.
You should at least check out the Vampire Eye mod. I think you'll like it.

One other thing I forgot to mention about using them as suppliments to your gamesave mod, is that the armor may, or may not be, compatible with Alternate Race mods that change body type. You should make sure everything will work before trying.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. Happy gaming to you as well!

    This looks good!
I tried making a version of Elric in the vanilla game once, but it didn't turn out very well. The vanilla game really doesn't like albino Dunmer, lol!

When I read what you said about not being able to get red eyes, I thought of some resources you might like to check out:

For red eyes, Troll Berserker's 'Vampire Eye Retexture' mod is really great: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/44948/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Foblivion%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D44948%26preview%3D&pUp=1

For an alternate armor set, you might like to look at David Brasher's ' Daedric Armor of Darkness ' mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/29152/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Foblivion%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D29152%26preview%3D&pUp=1

or, Themythofstrider and InsanitySorrow's 'Madness Armor and Weapons Retex' mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/29286/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Foblivion%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D29286%26preview%3D&pUp=1

The authors of both armor mods have given permission to use their work in other mods, with proper credit. You might have to get in touch with Troll Berserker about the eyes, though.
Also, although the sword you have in this mod is great, I've always thought that Umbra would make an excellent Stormbringer as well. Skybolt's 'Umbra As Souldrinker' mod is a great retexture in that regard: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/3840/?

Finally, just for your own enjoyment, have a look at 'Mighty Umbra': http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/13398/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Foblivion%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D13398%26preview%3D&pUp=1
This was a very ambitious mod that was apparently made early on, about a year after the game was released. It features an absoutely wicked looking two-handed version of Umbra (which would be even better with a black re-color), and a complex questline which ultimately pits the player's will against the sword itself! Very much in keeping with the Stormbringer theme. Unfortunately, reading through the comments for the mod reveals that many people had problems with it. In my opinion, this is a mod that deserves to be brought back at some point in time, perhaps with the better script writing that more recent versions of OBSE allow.

Good work on this mod ( you've made me want to try bringing Elric to Tamriel again! ), and I hope you enjoy looking through my suggestions.
