Is this compatible with better cities?

Probably, because it's just a replacer for the existing house. It doesn't build on empty land. But I don't use Better Cities so I'll let someone else answer.

Partially. BC moves the existing house for sale and this mod places a new version of it, so you end up with not only two houses, but the new one is positioned according to the vanilla town layout, which has been substantially modified by BC.
I'm going to experiment with removing the worldspace edits from this mod, so that only the interior is affected. I'll see how I go.

Looks like a nice mod, but when I try to enter the house, I can't because I don't have the key. Of course, I had the house purchased ( with all furnitures) before I installed the mod.. Any idea ?

For anyone having the problem in the future - Never mod properties, deeds you already have(Like Frostcrag spire, Battlehorn Castle or any house). First, mod it, then acquire it in the game!

Okay... didn't work for me. All I got was my old original house, but with no interior door so I couldn't get back out of it.
    What went wrong?
I put the XML file in my data folder with so many other xml files. Should it go someplace else?

XML file? I didn't find any XML file inside. There are only two files, one .esp and one .bsa, both going into the Oblivion/ Data folder.

The house worked fine for me. Maybe because I have just started a new game and I hadn't bought the house before installing Jigganine's overhaul.

I had the same problem using nexus mod manager. I exited the game, de-activated the mod and started up the game again with a save from before I bought the house. I bought the house, exited the game, activated the mod and started the game again with a save from after I bought the house. The mod now works fine. The house is very nicely done. It's attractive and has a lot of storage. It's definitely a great little home for Leyawiin. Thumbs up on this one!

There is a glitch where the game gets shut down if you go into dialogue

This is really a great mod that makes Leyawiin house worth to be living in.

There is just one minor issue: why is the guy inside the shop still selling the upgrades? That's so unimmersive...

That's so strange - I just added this to my game last night and I'm not experiencing this. Odd.

This overhaul is just perfect - it fits in with Leyawiin...yet at the same time it's so lovely. And the interior is just gorgeous - thank you! : )

i love this mod,i've always hated that in Oblivion you spent a fortune in gold to be given an ugly beggar's house with tan furniture, especially when the wife of a random Khajiit thief has a huge house full of silver furniture and potions
"why can't you have a nice house if you've got the gold for it," i say
my only complaint that it should be big as the other houses
like this one but keeping the upper class style of your mod?
    http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/27631/?
unfortunately that mod is full of bugs and makes my game crash,so that's not an option
could you do it,please? it would be fantastic
    please reply and thanks again!

Thanks! I know, right? I always liked Leyawiin, but when I had to spend time there in the vanilla game, I would always just sleep and store my stuff at the guild halls, because the shack was such a depressing dump. It's even nastier than the Waterfront Shack...

I tested it and works perfectly fine for me. However, there are two small things that bother me: first, I feel the layout of the interior doesn't quite fit the exterior, and, second, the exterior walls need a bit of painting -maybe in a different colour, like the building on the left?- so as the contrast between exterior and interior is not that big.

In any case, the house is pleasant enough to make you stay inside and, in my game, is completely functional. Thank you very much for your nice work. Endorsed!

Sigh, I know the interior and exterior don't exactly match, but they were the two closest to each other that I could find. Otherwise I would have had to create entire new house meshes from scratch, which would have been a monumental task. The Leyawiin houses have the most mismatched interiors/exteriors in the game.
