It's more or less the same, just really white and shiny. I like this, though - the ruins are underground and not exposed to things like the weather and sunlight. Sure, they're thousands of years old, but that doesn't mean they should be all worn and dirty (at least, not as much as they are).
Yep, looks mostly ok, some better some worse. I have some free time and playing with gimp is sometimes fun, and using clean textures is easier than dirty ones.

Why not use these one for Mancar Camoran's Paradise (the bloke from Mythic Dawn) instead?

however it removes "old" look it used to have, still: looks verry nice
