-The face/hair mod I'm using is Oblivion Character Overhaul v2.
-I use these on top of EVE HGEC replacers and it works really well in unison. I recommend grabbing it and installing these on top.
-Consider these provided as-is. I will not convert these for other body shapes nor will I make versions with bigger busts. I will not make these compatible with BBB either, goes against the whole point of compressing solid chestplates.
-That said, since there is no skin visible these will work with any body mod and vanilla alike, though there might be clipping issues when mixing and matching with armor pieces made for other bodies. These work best when worn as full sets.
I genuinely love immersive mods, especially for a type of game such as oblivion, which rely on immersion in their expirience. For example, I use nude mods for both sexes, but only for the bodies without clothing, as in semi-medieval fantasy setting it makes sense that there is no underwear. Sadly, there isn't a mod for medieval underpants and Stockings.
In this case, the armor replacer is just essential. Baseline oblivion female armor is terrible, with chainmail without arm protection and 'f*cking boobplates'. People advocating for less armor on woman based on "strength" never trained a day in their life, know little of history and just want their women to be sexually appealing. Jeanne D'arc wasn't running in boobplates with cleavage.
This is how female armor actually looked, which this mod is a lot closer too, and is actually immersive:

I'll note that I do not have anything against sexualisation in principle, but think that it shouldn't be mixed into cultural products that try to sell themselves as not sex-based and do not use it story-wise as, for example, Song of Ice and Fire does.
You want your warrior woman to look protected in her armour, not vulnerable to blades and arrows in her exposed flesh. She can take the armour off and put on her gown if she wants to look sexy.
I second this! a woman wearing "armor" that's completely open to show off her breasts, stomach or whatever is basically the equivalent of a video game boss showing its weak spot so you can go and stab it. Same for men showing off their crotch (or whatever other parts of their body).
Does anyone here know, whether this has any effect on steel armor? I can't find it written anywhere.
I have a mod that changes the model of the steel cuirass so that there's now a different model for women. Since I downloaded the folders from this mod, it doesn't work anymore, but I also don't wanna deinstall all of the mods to find out if it's true.
i found that all but the dwarven replacer had an esp and when i put them all in the data folder, the armor still uses the vanilla set. am i missing something here? edit: nvm figured it out
