Install TES construction set and open CenaurArmor.esp with it, navigate to armor under the items tab in the object window. You should be able to see the specific ID of the items if you hover over their editor ID names.

The body for my centaur seems to be a bit off on the underbelly. The lowerbody armor clipps through the body slightly. it's not too noticable but if I look under her, I see the armor going in her stomach slightly which is fine for for the armor with straps but it looks strange with the sttel armor.
don't have 3ds max but I found a different way to change the skin I'm a bit confused though, I downloaded the centaur mod from the link you posted in the description but it seems the centaur body is larger than what I see in the screenshots, parts of the armor that go underneath the body often clip into the body, most of the time entirely
are you still working on this mod? I would love to see some more armors, especially some that provide a higher defense rating or one that matches the Blades armor

There is armor with higher defense rating, but I can not post the DI set, because I haven't yet connected with the author to receive the permission.
I am actually very curious how you changed the color, I had been wondering the same thing. Is it difficult to do, and perhaps would you be willing to explain how?

However, the priority is to solve the critical scripts problem. You may try to check the overlay of the new texture in NIF-scope.

seems I'm doing something wrong, the textures that I used for the horse body isn't working on the modified body and I'm not sure why
