I was just musing to myself about how, of all the house mods I've made, this is by far the one that I use the most in different playthroughs. The location is convenient and attractive and the little house is just so cute and cozy and well-laid-out. I use the Vilja and Fergus companion mods, and depending on the gender and orientation of the character I'm roleplaying, one or the other sleeps with me in the upstairs bed and the other gets his/her own room in the basement. Sometimes I just 'ship them up with each other and take the basement room for myself.
I used to have a bone to pick with the upstairs bedroom - it looked a little stark for my taste and I couldn't figure out why - and then it dawned on me that if I changed the white bed to a different color, it would warm up the room. So now I use a green bed and it's everything I wanted it to be. The patterned MC bed and the brown MC bed work pretty well too.
It would be easy for anyone with the CS to change the bed themselves, but if I were to get a request to upload a file with a different bed color, I'd do it.
I've been using this mod as a player home since installing it in September 2013, and you are quite right about its location being one of the best. The sole improvement I can think of is to add a second jewel box to the main bedroom, in the bedside shelves on the right of the bed, and add one to the top of the chest of drawers in the basement bedroom.
I just now reworked all the lighting in this house. The latest version is realistic and ambient, but slightly dimmer than the last. I've also replaced all the old pics with new ones of the improved lighting scheme. If you prefer brighter lighting, use the previous file version.
The pics are of the brighter version, but since I only brought the lighting down from 120/120/120 to 110/110/110 and the visible difference is minor, I didn't see the need to make a bunch of new screenies... Yes, it is the only difference between the versions.
Interior is cozy. Beds are 'See You Sleep' and companion compatible which is always good. The lighting inside, and the basement, is a little too bright for realism. The amount of chairs is a little high for a house that sleeps three. Could possibly remove some of them for room for display cases or mannequin space. The storage spaces are good. I like the stocked drawers and closet. Saves time gathering a wardrobe. Although, the 5k in the jewelry box is excessive for a free house, but that's probably just me.
The exterior is quite bare. Maybe a more bushes further from the house and some light fencing along the path to the house might help make it less condensed.
I like the house, I may use it in a play through soon.

can you add a paying prerequisite?
