Exedor made a "Summon Doppleganger" mod (Conjuration School) -http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/7294//? You don't need to be a Master in Conjuration; I believe the spell requires Apprentice status (not 100% sure.) and has a more potent, higher Conjuration level variant as well. You can buy a book at Phintias in the IC, called the "Reflective Tome"; it can be a bit pricy, but it's well worth the investment. Your doppleganger is great in drawing all the enemey flak. It's basically a carbon copy of the Player, chooses the best arms and armor your Player has in his or her inventory. Don't summon it when having a bow equipped though, that's a bit of a drawback, but perhaps there's a new version available.
Seriously, this is one awesome mod. I'm going through Illusionist path as one of my build. My clone rushes to the battle field, while I sneak attack behind enemies. Good job dude! This deserve an endorsement.
Edit: Just don't attack or steal your clone. It is treated like your guild member, so the Guild will stomp you if you cause any harm to the clone. (It'd be better though if the clone can be attacked since I can hit it accidentally with my weapons sometimes). Still, this mod is fun.
I have just posted a fix for that let me know if if there are any Problems if there is a faction you still get kicked out of thank you for your comment and hope you enjoy the mod.
They are just like any other npc they will attack you if you hit them however if you yield to them they will except your yield and as of the problem with the guild where it kicks you out still i will need to look at my scripting because it should be working i will definitely look at it i will try some right now but idk if i will have fixed it and i have a job and other tuns of other stuff but i will find a way to fix it and i will post it for you to download sorry for your inconvenience and i appreciate your comments and responses i will hope fully get it done soon thanks again
thats a pretty cool idea for a mod, I'd like a spell that allows you to summon about 5 lesser powered versions of your own Char for about 50-60 secs so it's like an illusion, the enemy won't know which one is you so he/she will have to deal with "all of you" until time runs out or you defeat the npc or they defeat you. what d'ya think?, good idea? just wish I had the ability to mod, I suck at that lolollo
I think LAME might have a master level illusion spell that does that. I know there's an NPC in my game that has a similar spell to what you were describing.
I think I'd like em to stand their ground allowing you the opportunity to leg it if you need to, also, you could maybe have lesser and superior versions of the spell based on your level, if you are novice to apprentice you will only get one or two to summon but get more as your level progresses dammit man you got me thinking now and that hurts my head lolololol, enjoying this mod thoroughly though, ya need two endorse buttons . oh.. almost forgot, Kudos for that man.
