The Mages Guild will now sell its unique spellmaking and enchanting services to anyone...for a fee.
Useful for those not in the guild, those who haven't gained access to the Arcane University, or those who just don't want to trek back to the Imperial City to make a spell.

For some reason, enchanting and spellmaking are normally only available to mages guild members who have gained access to the arcane university. No longer. Now you can talk to select members at local guild halls, who will assist anyone with enchanting or spellmaking for a fee.

Talk to guild members at local mages guild halls. You will find options for "Enchanting Service" and "Spellcrafting Service". The guild members will give you more information, then offer their services for a fee. The fee for enchanting consultation is 50 gold, and for spellmaking it is 200 gold. This fee is for the guildmembers' expertise and assistance, and so it is charged regardless of whether you actually enchant an item or create a spell. The normal cost for the enchanted item or spell still applies as well.

Note that you can still do things for free, plus the normal spell/enchantment costs, at the University. This just expands the guilds services to the general public.
