JUST FYI FOR EVERYEONE! PvtPirate has updated this mod ONLY to include BBB. Great! However, if you look at the comments section under the original Immersive First Person mod, you'll see a LOT of people have and have ALWAYS had a LOT of problems with this mod. Apparently it was never thoroughly tested and debugged beyond the Beta 1 stage. I was excited to add it recently and so tried it. No fault of PvtPirate as he only added BBB. The original mod is HIGHLY unstable and results in constant CTDs. This is especially true IF you are using a modded player/character. I DO NOT recommend using it. If PvtPirate is an avid modder and wants to debug and update the original, THEN we'll have something. It will need to be fully compatible with modded characters, etc.
fixing those bugs is far beyond my capabilities. all i did was copy those nodes in as i was using this mod and BBB replacers. if you're still interested in this function, i recommend logicdrtagons mod http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/44337/?
Nice idea! "the videos on the original mod show everything important" sure, but without BBB !! Maybe uploading a new video would be a better idea than uploading screenshots!
there's actually a better plugin which enables firstperson body without any of those bugs, so i wont make a video of this - also because my game runs with low fps.
well, thats how its supposed to work, but as stated, there's glitches with that when using different animatiosn than the default/vanilla ones (and as far as i know even with some of those). of course thats bad advertisign, but i dont want to make false promises.
May I ask, what are the coordinates of you positions for BBB, and if so where can I change them? I ask because when I implement NoMaaM's BBB my body shrinks, but I still have the correct head position. What animations do you use?
i use NoMaaMs animations and a replacer for the walkanimation - as i replaced the files by hand and forgot which one it was, i cant tell... i dont know if there are BBB animations for the standard movement/combat animations that dont move different than the vanilla ones. as for the coordinates, i dont know what you mean. the only thing i did was copying the bbb-nodes from a compatibility skeleton into the skeletons of immersive first person view. the only thing this solves is the infinitely stretched breasts when using a BBB body/armor/clothes with this mod. because: animation moves skeleton, skeleton moves bodymesh and when a node in the bodymesh doesnt get any movement information from the skeleton, it will do strange things.
its true that the original mod DOES HAVE A LOT OF BUGS. By making this BBB compatibility update, i also hoped to raise interest in this mod and by that encourage Loup Sombre (who is the original author) to find and fix those bugs.
as i havent installed his mod into a vanilla oblivion, but into a heavily modded and mostly already instable version, i cant tell if my CTDs are from this mod or from the s***load of other mods. The only reall issues i can track down to this mod are the 1st and 3rd person animations not including the same camera-movement and by that you can sometimes see yourself from behind for a second.
