Real combat changes a few game settings making your character more vulnerable but also more deadly.
So you will now die quicker because you have less health. But you will also deal out more damage. This makes combat more realistic and much more exciting.

Why use it?

Well im playing an archer and im getting so sick and tired of combat. It takes me around 15 arrows to kill a clanfear at 50% difficulty. Boring!
Also I can get hit by that same enemy around 12-13 times before I die. ZzZzZz
At approximately 50% difficulty it takes me around 7 shots to kill it and 5-6 hits for my character to die. Much better. This makes combat much more exciting and also much more realistic.

Other changes
==
-Fatigue when blocking has been increased since it was to low.
-Damage you receive when blocking has been reduced to make blocking more rewarding and to compensate for the vulnerable character you now have.
-Falling damage has been reduced just like blocking damage to compensate for your characters health.
-Weapons and armor will now damage easier because you will use them less often.

Installation
===
Put the RealCombat.esp file into your Oblvion\Data folder.
Launch the Oblivion launcher click on "Data Files" and select "RealCombat1_1.esp" press ok and then play.

Difficulty Slider
===
It has been necessary to disable the difficulty slider. The game has now been locked at a difficulty that should more closely resemble real(istic) combat.

Save game compatibility
===
Fully compatible. It's a very simple mod so you can continue with your saved game. However to avoid unnecesary problems make sure that your character has full health before you install this mod.

Known problems
===
If you apply this mod on a character that currently has low health. Your health will be in the minus and your character will not be able to move.
Fix this by doing the following:
1. Uncheck Real Combat
2. Load your game.
3. Fully heal your character.
4. Exit
5. Activate Real Combat
6. Load game and play!
