Absolutely no idea how, why or when, but all the books are 100% readable at this time. Too many changes (added/removed mods) to even guess at what caused the problem to disappear. Thank you.
right this mod is one of the most basic mods i have ever seen but one of the most useful ones thank you no longer do i need to look back and thourth on my psp also i don't need to search for like 10 hours just to find 1 command thank you this is truely a great mod also what program did you use to make books
I get instant CTD's when opening a 'Guide to Places' and the 'Guide to NPC's Deluxe'. Hope you can sort out those issues as this is a very useful mod indeed.
As far as conflicts go, I am not using any scripts, textures, or meshes to create these books, other than the ones for the new NPC manual and the mesh folder and images are all fairly unique. The books themselves are just formated text inside a book with a unique formID. That is the only conflict that I can think might occur, is the formID. Haven't heard of anyone else having any problems with it, so I am not sure. If you figure it out, leave a post here, will you? Thanks.
Everytime I try to use the Guide to "locations", I get a CTD. I also get a CTD when I attempt to use the new Guide to "NPCs". Have you had any conflicts happen with yours?
So, after I made the update, the console commands, I just went into the game and opened the book and started checking out some of the cool commands Oblivion has. Last thing I tried last night was cloning myself...now there's a mad scientist thing ta do.lol. It was a bit freaky talking to myself. "> I was so polite.

Thank you.
What sort of situation might cause selection of one of these books in-game, to cause a CTD?
Both the Places and NPC Extra books cause an immediate crash when I select them in the inventory listing.
I note others have had this identical problem. Could it be Vista-oriented, rather than code-oriented??
GEM
CTD?
