About this mod

Calculates attribute values directly from skills as you play without affecting leveling and replaces stock birthsigns with compatible alternatives. Works with skill mods that allow skill values above 100. Highly optimized and NO OBSE necessary

Permissions and credits
How is this different from similar mods?
Firstly, OBSE isn't required. Your Attributes are not capped by anything but your skill level (and Oblivion's natural 255 limit, though Luck is capped at 255 to be safe), and attribute bonuses acquired will still count above your skill cap. Basically, it's slightly more robust than most non-OBSE mods, but less robust than some that use it.

How exactly does it work?
When you first load it up, your attributes will be set according to your skill values (be sure that you don't have any abilities that increase attribute values at this time, as their benefits will be lost). These changes won't happen until you've left the tutorial.

Your attributes are recalculated if their governing skills have changed, and losses to skills from things like jail will result in losses to attributes. Bonuses to your attributes received after the tutorial will still count beyond your skill caps, so if you read the Ohgma Infinium's Path of Spirit when you're maxed in the related skills and attributes, you'll get the +10 to Intelligence and Willpower as well as bonuses to these attributes from increasing your related skills.

Base attribute values will be the direct average of their governed skills, and health calculations are similar to (though bumped up one level from) the default formula, though health gains from levels are retroactive.

About those birthsigns...
They're stronger than the default, though most have greater drawbacks as well. They feel pretty balanced to me, and are based off the power of Morrowind's The Apprentice sign. If you're using this on an existing game, I'd recommend entering "showbirthsignmenu" into the console so you can choose a new one. Oh, and Bretons and High Elves have been given magicka multipliers rather than fortifications as well.

Version History:
5: Rewrote script, added birthsigns into the main file, changed script to quest type. Fixed Lover sign. Switched levelup script for AF Level Mod's levelup_menu.xml (many thanks to Fraktyl).
4: Removed drain/damage/fortify attribute bug.
3: Fixed Luck capping at 90, added ACP.200 for uncapped people.
2: Added script to prevent levelup from affecting attributes.
1: Initial release.
