This mod gives a permanant magicka bonus when activating ayleid wells. If you manage to find all 35 wells in the game, you'll recieve a special extra bonus as well.

When the mod is activated, any perviously activated wells are reset, and you can start getting magicka bonuses immediately. Wells will not reset, each well can only be activated once.

Bonus looks like this per number of wells:

*=The default special reward for all 35 wells is a permanent +1 magicka restore ability that is always on. (Faster Magicka Regen)
If you're an Atronach birthsign character, you instead get a +2 Spell Absorption bonus. We can't have them getting magicka regen suddenly, now can we? :P

The script is very basic and primitive compared to other Oblivion mods and does not even require OBSE. You should still definitely use OBSE, though, as it's required for many other mods.


Deactivating the mod, saving, then reactivating it will result in your "well finding progress" to be reset.

Installation:

OBMM:
Comes with basic omod conversion Data. In Obmm, click create, add the archive (or folder, if you've already extracted), click yes to import conversion data, then create.
Double click the mod to activate it.

Manual Install:
Extract Ayleid Wells.esp into Oblivion\Data folder. Activate the esp in Oblivion Launcher or another Mod Managing Program.

For both:
Use of Better Oblivion Sorting Software Reccomended.
If you're using a bashed patch (reccomended anyways), be sure to rebuild the patch after installing this mod.

Uninstallation:

OBMM: Deactivate the OMOD (and delete if desired)

Manual: Uncheck the esp in your load order (and delete if desired)

Conflicts:

Will conflict with other mods that change the AyleidWell script.

Mods that add Ayleid Wells shouldn't be directly effected unless they also modify the script. Note that this mod is only made to accomidate for the original 35 wells in the game, and any extra wells won't give extra permanant rewards. Extra wells from mods won't hurt anything, it will however make it easier to get to the special bonus.

Issues:

Make sure you've rebuilt your bashed patch, if using one.
If nothing is happening still (no bonus being given, for example) when you activate wells, try Importing the Script into your Bashes Patch (required Wyre Bash) (check "Import Script" when Building the patch, then check the esp for this mod).

Modifications by Godel:
-Well Rebalancing: I thought 30->35->40->...->200 with +2 regen was a bit overpowered and possibly game breaking, so I rebalanced it a little.
-Reducded Initial bonus to 5
-2nd to 19th wells found give +2 each instead of +5.
-Removed magicka regen bonus at well #20
-20th to 32nd wells give +5 per 2 wells (+2, then +3 every 2 wells)
-Last 3 wells give +5, +5, and +10 respectively.
-Bonus for finding all wells is a constant effect restore magicka with a magnitude of 1.
-Other Fixes:
-Fixed the Well Animation to go away after the well is activated. Before, nothing happened.
-Esp File was misspelled as Ayelid Wells.esp.
-Added Bash Tags to description.
-Removed the test well - it wasn't needed anymore.
-CLEANED MOD.

I didn't like the temporary boost to magicka that the Ayleid wells gave you in the normal game.
I created this module to give you five bonus points to magicka for each Ayleid Well you find and activate in the game.

The first well will give you something to start out with, 30 points.

The second adds 5 to that for 35

The final one will give you a total of 200 points permanently added to your magicka.

There are also special bonuses if you can find 20 wells - and another if you can find all 35 wells.

Godel - Rebalanced original mod to give slightly less bonus. Fixed the animation for the well light to turn off after use. Added concept of different reward for Atronach birthsign people.

Final Comments:

If you like the mod, please don't forget to endorse it. I originially took the original mod by Sunaris and fixed several bugs, made it a bit more balanced, and added special rewards based on class (since, how overpowered would magicka regen be for atronach birthsign players? :p) for my own and my friends' personal enjoyment, but then I thought others would really enjoy it, too.
