i like it but alot of the enemies are already dead or glitched out also, there wasnt much detail but i guess thats part of the idea having old school simple tilesets, i was expecting to see a bit more verticality but thats probably limited by the tileset
my main issue is how boring the maze was, you could've multiplied the complexity by 10 and color coded areas with light sources and perhaps elemental themed enemies to go alongside the aesthetics.
thats just me picking holes making room for new stuff...
but i appreciate the mod nonetheless because it strikes me as a sketched canvas ready for the colouring artist to step in and bring life to the art!
I am up to the challenge! BRING IT ON! I need a new adventure anyway. Everything else is complete for the most part.... aside from a few side quests anyway...
It's a very entertaining mod. The maze was HUGE and the path through it was very well thought out. I also liked the fact that you start from scratch and work up, collecting useful things on your way. The beginning was amusing (the note), and the encounter with the wizard took me by surprise, as I had this mod installed for a long time and completely forgot about it (my load order is full of such delightful surprises). Thanks David for your work.
The labyrinth is carefully designed and I really enjoyed playing. But I noticed one thing. Female model of "Gauntlets of Opening" seems mistakenly set to greaves mesh. So, when my female character puts on them, her hands disappear and greaves appear on her leg. Other than that, I enjoyed the mod. Thank you!
@ tex2790 To start the mod, resist the elf when he tries to rob you. If you give him the money, you will be poorer and won't get sent to the maze.
@ Ghoulz The undead are not essential and are therefore not unkillable. You can kill them just like normal. There might be issues of game balance if you were stuck in a maze full of unkillable monsters after your gear had been stolen from you. But it is an interesting idea.
Awesome maze! it was fun to explore and complete. if I could suggest a few things:
1: A little darker would be nice. Also a few pits and other stuff would be awesome.
2: The only thing I found dissapointing were the enemies. I play with OOO + MMM with extra spawn settings, so compared to other dungeons the enemies were barely a danger. I was able to take my level 4 character through the maze without suffering any damage other that a swinging ball trap.

Adding more challenging enemies would be fun.
