hi almighty mod maker, ive ran into a problem!, i tried to download it but it seems its conflicting with Rk9 Dog modders meshes and asking me if i want to overwrite them Yay or Nay to this?
It seems Radiant is smart enough to search for food if the bowl is out but empty. It was a rainy day, I had just found Radiant at the local church (where I put him when I altered it to fit my LO using OCR and ALT Start village Lindum) and we got home. Played some fetch (the throwing from certain combat mods works nice as long as you don't throw at him), fed him, and started to rearrange the living area (using redecorate, very nice to be able to set a home up how you want). Suddenly, I hear something being opened and closed. Turns out, Radiant had decided after eating the 5 meat in his bowl, he had to search for more and ate another 36 from my food cabinet..... I paid for all that meat with intentions of cooking it up. (Craftybits has a very nice cooking system)

Hi there, I just love this mod. I was wondering, have you heard of Nehrim? I tried to add your dog to that game but failed ..... im not to good with modding.....could you make a mod that the dog could be played with in nehrim?
The festival sounds like a nice idea, but if you are just adding things it won't be compatible with Better Cities (well, it might be but I doubt it!). What you can do is make a compatibility patch, or a sub-space.
If you aren't going for anything activity-heavy, then you could make souvenirs (paper lantern clutter items that players can buy to decorate their homes). Could also do other stuff, but I think this is the easiest & most attractive change you could do.
Also, you could add a different load screen / text, and perhaps some music if you have any (note that music tends to make a mod heavy).
hey sleepypanda, i check out the poses tutorial thanks! Also the festival mod is coming out soon. The festival basically adds a bunch of stands, banners and paper lanterns around bravil. It also adds cool new items deer bait (to attract deer), psilocybin mushrooms (actually has trippy visuals) and fireworks to the night sky.
There are tutorials for making poses. I think I saw one by Coronerra (his work is excellent in my opinion). Let me look it up. Yep, here it is: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=28326 Check chapter 3, it's basically about poses/animations, no A-only stuff involved.
As for Radiant's gender... I like to think of him as a male, but I could be wrong. He's rather aggressive for me, might be due to over-feeding (I think I got his courage stat to one hundred by now. Shame I have to lose it for the update, but ah well).
Ideas for a festival? Well, it depends on the theme of the festival. Is it going to be far east style? Middle east?
Don't want to make this post longer than it already is, so I'll just make a new comment after you reply (might take me a while to get to this, busy in real life at the moment).
oh by the way check out the new mod for eating animations, just go to my username harisonzamperla on the top of the page and it should show all my uploads.
Also i'm going to release a new mod soon that adds a festival to bravil. Something you'd like to see?
i haven't been back here to check comments in a minute as i've been working on a couple mods and i just released New Eating Animations. But that said, i haven't forgotten you guys and i'll try to implement some new features/skins soon. Thanks for helping me find bugs and suggest improvements. I have a lot of fun reading your comments.
As far as new skins, i'll try to make some other options. I'm not sure about how to make poses, but i'd welcome some help on that. As far as calling radiant, he/she? (guess i'm not sure of radiant's gender) always finds you if you're on the "HEEL" mode. It may take awhile but that's mostly the way oblivion processes it's ai. So the dog whistle is in case you loose radiant or the bone in a ravine or clip error or something odd. Most of the time radiant will just come after you on his(?) own.
Jaime74 as far as throwing the bone i usually just use a telekinesis spell. Try "player.addspell 000AA067" into the console that's a good one.
I really love this dog and have given this mod my endorsement: Both the idea of the bone fetching and the looks of the dog are excellent!
I only ran into one problem, when I tried to find Radiant for the first time in front of the chapel in Cheydinhal, and it seems that no one has reported it so far: In my case (with Better Cities/Better Cheydinhal enabled), Radiant is stuck inside a statue/pillar together with his bone. I could only pick him up by walking through the pillar with the TCL console command and then picking up the bone. Am I the only one experiencing this? I guess it's just a conflict with BC, which adds that statue/pillar, and could be solved by moving Radiant's initial postition a bit.
In addition (though not a critical thing), while running after the bone or after the player, Radiant seems to be very slow while turning around to find his path. I wonder whether this might be caused by a to low value of his turning speed?
And finally, here's one more idea/suggestion: If one's not using mods that allow throwing of items (such as Unnecessary Violence etc.), throwing the bone is somewhat tedious and doesn't bring as much fun as it could. I wonder whether it would be possible to add a bone throwing spell, that uses a script to pick the bone from the player's inventory and then push it away a couple of feet? And maybe this might even be configurable with an ini file (speed, distance etc.)? I am just letting my fantasy go havoc, I know, but such a feature would definitely boost this mod a lot and make everybody addicted to playing with his/her dog instead of saving Tamriel! ">

I'm happy the tutorial helped!
