Overview

Cleans up the Imperial City Temple District a month after the events of the main quest, restoring the burnt trees and ripped-up streets to their former glory.

Includes a version for users of Let the People Drink.

Requirements

  • Oblivion patched to the latest version. Shivering Isles is not required.
  • An optional Let the People Drink version is included. This version requires Let the People Drink 2.5 or above.

Installation

Installing with BAIN (preferred):

  • Uninstall any previous version of AFK_ICTempleCleanup.
  • Move the AFK_ICTempleCleanup archive to your \Oblivion Mods\Bash Installers\ directory.
  • Open Wrye Bash, and click the Installers tab. Select AFK_ICTempleCleanup.
  • Select either the 01 LtPD or 01 Non-LtPD sub-package, depending on if you want Let the People Drink support or not. Make sure the proper AFK_ICTempleCleanup.esp is selected. If you use the Let the People Drink version of AFK_ICTempleCleanup, you will need to clean LtPD with TES4Edit. See the note below.
  • Right click the AFK_ICTempleCleanup package in the packages list and click Install.
  • In the Mods tab, make sure AFK_ICTempleCleanup.esp is selected.
  • Make sure everything is in the proper order either manually or by using BOSS.
  • Rebuild your Bashed Patch.

Installing Manually:

  • Uninstall any previous version of AFK_ICTempleCleanup by deleting AFK_ICTempleCleanup.esp.
  • Open the AFK_ICTempleCleanup archive.
  • If you want COBL support, copy AFK_ICTempleCleanup.esp from the 01 LtPD directory to Oblivion/Data. Otherwise copy AFK_ICTempleCleanup.esp from the 01 Non-LtPD directory to Oblivion/Data. If you use the Let the People Drink version of AFK_ICTempleCleanup, you will need to clean LtPD with TES4Edit. See the note below.
  • In your mod manager of choice, make sure AFK_ICTempleCleanup.esp is selected.
  • Make sure everything is in the proper order either manually or by using BOSS.

Cleaning Let the People Drink:

In order for the Let the People Drink version of AFK_ICTempleCleanup to work correctly, you will need to clean LetThePeopleDrink.esp to fix several deleted objects used by AFK_ICTempleCleanup. If you don't perform this step, your game WILL crash on load.

You will need TES4Edit for this step.

  • In TES4Edit, load Oblivion.esm and LetThePeopleDrink.esp, and ONLY these files. Let everything finish loading.
  • Right click LetThePeopleDrink.esp, and select Apply Filter. In the screen that appears, make sure the only thing selected is "Conflict status inherited by parent" and hit the Filter button. Let it run.
  • Right click LetThePeopleDrink.esp, and select "Remove 'Identical to Master' records" and let it run.
  • Right click LetThePeopleDrink.esp, and select "Undelete and Disable References" and let it run.
  • Close TES4Edit. When it asks you to save, do so.

Compatibility

AFK_ICTempleCleanup should be compatable with any mod that does not change the vegetation in the Imperial City Temple District.

AFK_ICTempleCleanup is compatable with Let the People Drink, but should load after it.
